“Good Budget Hotel”

This is a good, clean, budget hotel with no frills. It is in a fairly central area with lots of similar hotels, mostly used by budget travellers or business people. We had a quiet night's sleep, undisturbed by traffic or other residents. The room was fine, with clean sheets, clean shower and a clean toilet, which is all I really want. The room had a TV but we didn't bother with it. It could've done with a kettle, but tea is available for a small fee in the reception area.

Nayland Hotel is a good 3 star hotel. Very clean with good service at desk and breakfast. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, Small rooms as you would expect in London at budget end of market. Does not suit staying more than a couple of nights as it would feel too cramped. I would recommend it. for couples and singles.

Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Close to good public transportation. We would definitely stay at the Nayland in the future.

Le quartier est calme et agréable avec quelques pubs et restaurants. Proche d'une station de métro, le centre et les gares sont très faciles d'accès. Les chambres correspondent à un confort 3 étoiles. Deux points faibles : l'accueil et le petit-déjeuner. Mais un bon petit déjeuner est servi dans un restaurant proche. Idéal pour le tourisme.

“A Charming Hotel”

The staff at the Nayland Hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us. The room was small but very clean. The bathroom was small but not too small. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was just OK. The lounge was nice and the drinks were not expensive. The location, a 7 minute walk from Paddington Station, was perfect for us. We used the Heathrow express to get to the hotel and then to return to the Heathrow airport. About as hassle free as it can get. There were some good restaurants within walking distance. The staff made several suggestions that turned out to be really good dining experiences. We would definitely stay there again.

Trés bon rapport qualité prix pour Londres, chambre propre, petit déjeuner sans grande prétentions mais suffisant , bon quartier , trés bien situer dans Londres pour affaires ou pour une week end shopping ( 15 minutes à pieds en longeant Hyde park, du quartier le plus commerçant seul bémole ) internet à des prix trés élevés 5 pounds l'heure ou 10 pounds les 24 heures Acceuil plutot sympa Je recommande donc cet hotel

“4 Stars?”

The Nayland hotel was good for what it was, unfortunately it wasn't that much. I expected the rooms and bathroom to be small, so I wasn't too concerned about that. Though a larger person may have some difficulty in the bathroom which has barely enough room to turn around in. There was no air conditioning, and the windows did not have screens so when you opened them you took the chance of letting in bugs. My main concern was with the lack of water pressure. Often times when you turned on the shower nothing would happen, I called down to the front desk and they said to wait ten minutes and try again. You shouldn't have to wait ten minutes and try again for a shower to work at a four star hotel. The location was very close to the Paddington station which was convenient but there wasn't much around the hotel itself. The staff was friendly, but not overly helpful. If you need an iron bring your own or be prepared to give a 25 Pound deposit to use one of the Hotel's. Overall, I would probably look for another place for future visits to London, but for the price that we paid, it wasn't too bad.

“Convenient for short trip to London”

The hotel was fine, on a pleasant street - I felt safe returning (via underground) late in the evening. I'd booked a single room - and it definitely was! It was sufficient for somewhere to sleep - but I was there for semi-social/semi-business and there was nowhere to work (apart from sitting on the chair and using the bed as a desk) - probably booking a twin/double room would be different. The shower room was also small, but clean - although the temperature of the water was a little erratic. But for a reasonably priced hotel, within a few minutes walk of Paddington station, it's somewhere I'd certainly consider next time I'm in London. Breakfast was fine - self-service: juices, cereal, bread for toast (coffee was a little 'brewed').

“Très bon hôtel!”

Assez bien situé (1/4h à 20 min de marche pour aller jusqu'a Oxford Street et Hyde park), chambre très propre, personnel correct + petit déj compris et correct (ce qui n'est pas négligeable à londres)... ideal pour visiter londres! par contre, ne pas venir en voiture... car c'est la galère pour le parking qui ne contient que qqes places!
