Great hotel in a very nice part of London.
We enjoyed every single day that we were at the Harrington Hall Hotel. There were many good shops and restaurants a few minutes away, and it was very easy to get to the other parts of London, either by bus or the Underground. We did lots of exploring in the six days that we were there, and we felt very fortunate to have found such a nice hotel.

Older but good
It was a very nice hotel, but as it was older, it had a few flaws. The air conditioning system made a lot of noise, whether it was on or not and the water temperature wasn't always easy to control. Otherwise though, the room was clean and spacious and the front desk was helpful.

Lovely city break
Very nice hotel. At first they didn't have our reservation and after phoning Hotels.com website they had to make a new booking - and for the trouble they upgraded out room free of charge from a standard to executive suite. Great customer service. Room was large and comfortable. Although the bathroom was relatively small.

Wonderful hotel
Wonderful location-- subway nearby, good eating places all around, convenient location, beautiful neighborhood. Hotel staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good room and bed.

Centrally located hotel. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert Museum. Close to the tube. Staff was extremely helpful.

It's very easy to go to the central and the area is safe. I've stayed for two weeks, so I needed a reasonable price and conveniently environment. I could get both.(early bird price) The room was quite large and comfortable even though it was the smallest room. I could feel at home. Especially the towel rack in the bathroom was wonderful. It has the heating function. Warm and quick drying! Two cons.. the minibar, it's not a fridge, it's just for a wine. Not cold enough for a drink. If your neighbor checked-out early in the morning, you need to wake up for the vacuum noise. :) and sometimes you can hear the neighbor's TV sound.

Great hotel near the tube
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood one block from a tube station. We were within walking distance of the Royal Albert Hall. Access to every London location was simple with the tube so close by. We had all the benefits of being in the middle of everything London had to offer while staying in a quiet hotel. The staff was wonderful, and very patient with first-time visitors to London. We want to go back and would definitely want to stay at Harrington Hall again.

This hotel is located at a very convenient spot
The hotel is close to several museums. It is a 15 minute walk to Harrods and other shops. The Gloucester underground is only 2 minutes walk from its doorstep where we took the subway train to Victoria station to watch a broadway show. This too was only 3 stops away. The room was cosy and the staff were excellent.

Nice Hotel, Excellent Location
We stayed at Harrington Hall for 4 nights in mid September. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They helped us print our boarding passes for our flight home without a charge. They gave us information on the which tube stops to use for various sights. They always greeted us when we entered. The hotel is very conveniently located, only about a block to the Gloucester Road Tube Station and a few blocks to the South Kensington Tube Station (direct access to Heathrow Airport). Good location for visiting Kensington Palace/Gardens, Hyde Park, Victoria Albert Museum, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Albert Memorial, Harrods. Grocery store and restaurants within a 1-2 block radius. Nice neighborhood feels very safe.

Good location, however when I arrived the room was very warm and when I asked about the AC, a hotel clerk said it was working, but it was not. I did get a facilities person to turn it on the second evening. The lamps on the bed stands weren't working, so my room was changed on request. The hair dryer in my second room wasn't working. I found the staff friendly and basically helpful.

Great hotel close to Tube and local amenities
I wanted a hotel within a short walking distance of the London Tube. This was perfect - 2 minute walk. We could get to where ever we wanted in a short time and even come back to the hotel for a rest and quick change before going out again to a show at night. We felt very safe in the area. There were plenty of shops and cafés close.

First trip to London I was a little afraid of getting a small moldy room, which was a lot of what I was seeing in my budget. Fortunately I found a great bundle deal on Expedia for the hotel and Flight. My mother and I stayed in a wonderfully spacious room for 10 nights with free Wi-Fi. We had two good size twin size beds and a big bathroom with tub/shower. The room was clean and modern, everything from the furniture to the bathroom fixtures. We found the staff very helpful and very friendly, they greeted us ever day leaving and coming back to the hotel. For a day trip to Liverpool we needed to catch the train at 5:30am. The hotel staff arranged a car to pick us up at 4:30am with no issue and at a great price.

This hotel was a great deal through expedia. The location was great for the price. The tube station was close and had a large grocery store above it. The only negative was (this is always possible) that our upstairs neighbor was quite loud. It sounded as if he/she was doing aerobics for thirty minutes which is possible but it was close to midnight. To be fair we didn't log a complaint with the hotel staff. Overall it was great!

Greeted with flavored cold water on our arrival. Easy check-in. Great rooms. Super availability to the tube. Unfortunately, this hotel will be closing on October 31st as it will be converted to condominiums.

At arrival we were warmly greeted and checked-in with ease. Went up to room to find it neat, clean, tidy and smelled fine. It was a spacious room and the bathroom was clean as well. TV had plenty of channels and the walls were thick. Plenty of privacy. The beds were comfortable and there was maid service daily. However, there were two things that could have been better. First, there were only 3 outlet plugs for us to recharge our electronics and second, the heater did not work and our room was quite cold. We noticed that the maids opened the window to allow air in but it was too cold. Also, our room phone rang twice and we were hung up on on different days by, I am assuming the hotel staff (front desk or maids), to see if we were still in the room for check-out or for cleaning it.

I would recommend this hotel to friends n family. The bed was a little firm fot my tastes but my friends liked it. The staff were very helpful with printing my boarding pass n changing my room to a lower floor. I only wish I could stay longer.

Excellent Location for Vacationers
This is the second time we have stayed at Harrington Hall and I would gladly return. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are relatively large and comfortable, the lobby, lounge area and dinning room are pleasant, the breakfast is good and the location is hard to beat. I understand the ownership is changing, but hopefully that will not effect the management of the hotel.

NH Harrington Hall proved to be an excellent choice for our recent stay in London. It is just around the corner from Gloucester Road tube station and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived two hours before check in for a family wedding and they had our room ready for us. The room was lovely, bright and large with everythng we needed. Lunch isn't served on a Saturday or Sunday or bank holiday - we arrived on a Saturday - but we had a pizza and glass of wine in the bar to keep us going before the wedding and it was fine - very friendly and helpful bar man. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel - it's £14 each and you have to give notice if you want it - so we found a wee cafe a few minutes walk away - Petit Delice - which was ideal for us. Nice breakfasts, friendly staff and inexpensive for London. Would be happy to stay at the NH Harrington Hall again and to recommend it.

The hotel was located in a great location just one 1.5 blocks from the Gloucester Underground station and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel had all the amenities I needed including a very nice breakfast buffet and free wi-fi internet throughout the building. The statf was great.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and quite spacious. The hotel is just two short blocks from a tube stop, so getting around London was easy and efficient. A good selection of coffee shops, markets, restaurants, and pubs are right nearby. Also, a nice walk to Hyde Park and great museums.

It was our first trip to London an i can say that it was a nice experience. We stayed four nights in August. The location is very good if you want to stay in quiet area. It's relatively near Hide Park, Royal Albert Hall and Natural History Museum. Gloucester Road subway station is around the corner and have a direct line to Heathrow. All the hop on hop off buses have a station also in the same place. If you don't want to have breakfast there are a lot of restaurants in the area, for different pockets.

My daughter and I stayed in London for 6 days and found this hotel a perfect one. Location is excellent, close to the underground, museums around the corner. The hotel staff is wonderfull and helpfull. We forgot power adapter and receptionis found one for us on the spot. The hotel is very clean and our room was quite spacious. We will be glad to come back to this hotel next time we are in town. I will also recommend it to anyone inquiring about hotels in London.
