“Sensible London Hotel”
NH Harrington Hall, admittedly not a catchy name, makes up for it by delivering all one could ask in a London hotel, without taking a full two steps up to a luxury property. It will meet the need of any traveler who hasn't the need to impress anyone, or to congratulate himself. The public spaces are large and clean, as are the rooms and the bathrooms. The service is willing, courteous, and friendly. The hotel is quiet. There are half a dozen very acceptable restaurants of different types within 150 meters of the door. The Gloucester Road Picadilly Line Station is no further. It's a ten minutes' walk to Knightsbridge, along Brompton Road, and an equal distance to Chelsea. This hotel offers one of the best price/value ratios in London.
“A great find in central London.”
A very quiet, spacious room in an excellent location. Very comfortable bed and helpful bar staff. The lobby area is a little stark but the room itself more than made up for this. Would definitely use again.
“Best Hotel I've stayed in in London.”
Excellant location with good restaurants and deli close by. Spacious rooms with lots of hot water for long showers. Not too hot in the rooms. Triple room was good size.
“Safe, Convenient, Clean”
Visiting London, needed safe location and ease to visiting the London sites. NH Harrington Hall was perfect for our trip and Yes, I would stay here again. Located in South Kensington and two blocks from Gloucester metro stop on the yellow circle line. The community was nice and one block from several dry clean shops. Numerous restaurants in many price ranges for getting any desired meal and easy walk to Albert Victoria Museum. The concierge was most helpful for theater tickets, and the hotel offered convenient use of the computer in their business room. Clean workout room and seemed used very little. Our room was clean, not large but roomy enough and the bathroom was most acceptable. The hotel staff was kind, professional and attentive. I new nothing of this hotel so it was a gamble and I am most pleased with the outcome. This location also made it very easy getting on the metro (Piccadilly line) to Heathrow airport.
“Great London Hotel”
Although the building was older, it was full of character and really fit in with the surrounding neighborhood. The service, cleanliness and food in the hotel was tops. It is located in a perfect location for those who want to explore the city of London. The Gloucester tube stop is only about a 5 minute walk from the NH Harrington. Also within walking distance are several pubs, cafes, restaurants, banks, etc. The hotel sits in the Kensington section of the city, so it is also within walking distance of the Kensington Gardens and Palace, as well as several other historic places of interest. Again, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay near central London.
“Hôtel NH Harrington Hall: Excellent rapport qualité/prix”
Hôtel très bien situé, près des stations de bus et de métro. A moins de 15 mn du centre en métro. Restaurants et Pub à proximité. Excellent.
“Great Hotel just a little skimpy, lots of money on breakfast”
My husband and I stayed at Harrington Hall for our honeymoon in January of 2005. We were greatly pleased with the room, the service (the concierge were especially helpful) and the location of the hotel. The only caveat was the continental breakfast. When we were there, the cost was around 13 pounds, for those of you who keep up with the exchange rate, that's about $20 for a breakfast that included bread, cereal, prociutto and orange juice. Needless to say, we didn't partake in that particular breakfast again. However, there are many other places to eat very near by, and for those of you who, even when in a foreign country, can't get enough Burger King, there's one about a block away. The bartender at Harrington is also great, very helpful and eager to help find a great drink!
“Comfortable and quiet setting”
Very convenient to Gloucester Road tube station, and on a quiet street. Our room was EXACTLY as pictured. The king size bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and sparkling clean. It was also quiet, with minimal street noise, little guest noise, and housekeepers who tiptoe past the "do not disturb" sign.
