“Correct pour le prix”

Hotem situe a 2 pas du metro et des misees de grreenwich facime d acces en vpiture et avec parking. Chambres propres petit dej anglais rustique mais sympa. Un pb de fenetres et de douches un peu vieilles. Mais pub tres sympa. Pour le prix rien a dire.

“Good value for money”

Depends on your expectations. As a two-star hotel, I found it better than expected and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is situated above a public house but despite it being a Saturday night, the room assigned to us was quiet and we were not disturbed in any way. We had in fact booked a double with ensuite but then at the last moment had to ask for an extra bed to be put in. They agreed to do so and moved us to a slightly larger room to accommodate another bed, We ended up in a double with ensuite and a kitchenette. The room had been newly decorated and fitted with modern furniture. The bathroom fittings were all very clean and new, The only issues we had were that the reception area was unattended when we arrived and we initially had to enter via the public house and the rather strange arrangement for breakfast, with a basic continental breakfast provided in a basket the night before (Coffee and tea and milk were provided in the kitchenette).

The Mitre Hotel is small, nothing fancy, just above a a pub, but rather quiet, very clean, tidy, economical and with modern facilities in the room. It is very close to the Thames, DLR and British Rail - generally very convenient location.

“Good for O2”

The Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful but rarely at reception so need to buzz and wait which was annoying when you are in a hurry and have come from 3rd floor(there is no phone) and then your request for an iron or towel is not brought up to you so you go without. There is NO Parking near this hotel except between 6pm and 9am if you can find a free space. The room was OK but a lot of noise from road when trying to sleep. Good for one night when at the O2 which is 15 mins away.
