“Better than expected”

This is probably not a hotel where you would bring your spouse on a honeymoon, however it is perfect for students and frequent travelers who enjoy the location. The staff was very helpful, and the room with bathroom and shower was small, but overall better than expected. Also considering the free WiFi and the central location opposite Paddington station I would recommend it to the budget-conscious active traveler, and I already booked my next stay.

If your budjet isn't big and you don't care where to sleep, this is good option. I've seen better places but for two nights this was good :)

“Dorm Room”

The hotel staff was outstanding in helping with restaurants, clubs, and places to see. The room was small as expected, about the size of a dorm room, three single beds, seperate bath with toilet, sink, and stand up shower. The linens were clean & beds were comfortable. We got a good night's sleep, hot shower, with easy access to the paddington station & express train to LHR. Would I take my wife...no, my college boys and I had a great getaway visiting London during break, the hotel was perfect for us.

“Avoid this Hotel at all costs!”

This hotel is a disgrace and should be completely avoided. It is conveniently located next to Paddington train station but that is about it. The room price is a disgrace and anyone who chooses to stay there will be in for a shock. We had a room at the very top, five long floors up (6 from the ground floor). The room was a joke, it was hard to actually enter it due to the bar fridge(why?) almost blocking the door and the location of the bed, almost blocking the door as well! The bed was beyond a joke! Clearly a relic from WW2 or has had a few too many people staying in it, the sheets and towels however were clean. If this place charged around GBP30 - 40 then it would be competitive with other dives behind Victoria station that I have stayed in when I was younger, but what I paid??!! No way!
