“Close to it all”

This hotel is wonderfully located right on the Picadilly Line near two Tube stops. The cost was $2.00 Pounds to get from London Heathrow on the Tube. GO to London, stay at this Hotel....we loved it!!

“Quality Crown Hotel Kensington -- September 2008”

Excellent location for touring London. Close to everything we wanted to see plus easy access to public transport. Hotel was very clean and staff were extremely helpful. We found the rooms quite spacious by London standards ! Would definatly stay again.

“Hidden Luxury in Central London”

If you're looking for an affordable hotel in a great location, Country Inns and Suites is your best bet. Located not too far from Gloucester Road station (but be prepared to walk), it is also conveniently near Kensington High Street. The rooms are fully air-conditioned and the beds are heavenly.

“Compact Double - for one”

My compact double was the perfect size for one. The bed was an American style double, between a twin and a queen. It would be a very tight squeeze for two. The windows are double sealed, my 6th floor room overlooking Cromwell Rd was very quiet. Bathroom was also compact, but clean and modern. TV only had 6 channels and 3 radio channels, none American. Sainsbury Supermarket is a block away, with a Starbucks in it. Warning, it closes at 5pm on Sundays, open til midnight other days. This is a nice area, I never felt scared to walk around at night, even at midnight.

“Good hotel in central location”

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July with my mum in a twin bedroom. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned that the room would be small. I found it to be perfectly adequate, and being on holiday, it was only a roof over our heads at night. My only complaint would be the dividing door between our room and the one next door. It meant we heard every word said by our neighbours, and the very loud yawns they felt the need to do all the time. However, with the air conditioning on, they could hardly be heard. Watch for rooms beside the lifts. We heard people coming out of them frequently, often in the early hours of the morning with little consideration for those of us trying to sleep. I found the front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to others looking for value for money in a central location.

“Lovely hotel close to Kensington High Street”

The staff was very helpful at all hours. We were comfortable, though the room was a bit crowded with furniture; the furniture was useful, though. The hair dryer worked great and the coffee-and-tea-maker was very functional. We were between two tube stops, so travel was easy. There are restaurants nearby on Cromwell Road and on Kensington High Street. The area in general seemed very quiet and safe. I would recommend it to others and would stay there again.
