Fratelli - A relaxed, informal restaurant with dual-level dining, Fratelli serves a buffet breakfast and an à la carte menu every evening. Triple aspect with large windows etched with Roman designs, the restaurant is bright and decorated in a contemporary style. Fratelli features an authentic Italian stone-baked oven where the speciality pizza is freshly made and cooked to order in the open live-theatre kitchen.
Bar Hemia - With floor-to-ceiling windows, the contemporary Bar Hemia offers guests another dining option with a menu of main meals and snacks served for lunch and dinner (until 11 PM), with one of the chef's specialities being the herb and parmesan crusted chicken with sweet potato. Fruit smoothies, coffees or a glass of wine are available, as is the signature cocktail the Café Cosmopolitan made with Swedish Pinky Vodka.

“convenient quiet location not to far from city”
Nice quiet neighborhood very close to the underground stop. Not far from the city. Good value for money. Cheaper places to eat breakfast nearby. Nicely appointed room and decent size.

L'hotel Mariott Maida Vale est un hotel grand standing très au calme dans un quartier populaire de Londres juste derriere Abbey Road pour les fans des Beattles. Le métro est à 5mn à pieds et les bus pour le centre juste à la sotie de l'hotel. Trop loin du centre pour y aller à pieds. Nous voulions une chambre familiale pour 4. Quand nous sommes arrivés, il y avait visiblement un pb de chambre mais ils nous ont relogé dans une suite tout à fait magnifique. Je ne peux donc qu'être satisfait de cette prestation luxueuse. C'est néanmoins plutot un hotel pour les voyages d'affaires.
“Très bon hotel à Londres bien situé”
Hotel tres bien : personnel très compétent, petit déjeuner anglais très bien, bien situé juste la piscine du club de sport voisin horaires limites pour les enfants (18 h la semaine ce qui est assez tot)

Très bonne adresse bien placée, facile pour prendre le bus ou le métro et rejoindre le centre de Londres. Personnel sympathique, toujours disponible. Petit déjeuner excellent et copieux. Literie confortable, chambre spacieuse. Salle de bains agréable. Nous sommes ravis.

“Good value is hard to find”
This place delivers. It's slightly out of the center (the nearest tube stop is Kilburn, not Maida Vale) but a good base for getting to the northern part of the city. Well set up, well run.

Although the area wasn't our first choice (we were hoping to stay near Hyde Park as we had in the past, but the hotels near there were either too pricey, or the reviews we saw didn't sound too appealing). When searching for travel deals we happened to stumble upon this hotel and were happy we did so. It was nice knowing that we would be staying in a hotel with an "American" size room (instead of the typically small European hotel room with the potential for a shared bathroom). There was a Starbucks practically next door (another plus), a very nice pub two blocks away, and the hotel was only a 5 minute walk to the Underground, so getting around was very easy. From the airport we took the Heathrow Express to Paddington, and then the Underground to the Kilburn Park station. This worked just fine, although it was difficult maneuvering with luggage. Returning to the airport, we took a taxi to Paddington (the Kilburn Park station was closed that morning) and then the Heathrow Express to the airport. According to the taxi driver, the cost would have been the same to take a taxi directly from the airport to the hotel as it was to travel by Heathrow Express. The only word of warning, if you have children and are looking forward to using the pool, the pool is actually part of a healthclub in the building adjacent to the hotel and children are not permitted after 6:00 PM.
