“Un bon rapport qualité-prix”
Petit hôtel sympathique, avec un personnel très agréable. La chambre était très petite, mais confortable et propre. Les sanitaires (hors de la chambre) étaient également propres et en bon état. La situation de l'hôtel fut un vrai bonheur, puisque le centre-ville est à portée de mains (station de métro à quelques minutes qui vous emmène partout en peu de temps), donc pas de perte de temps dans les transports ! Petit bémol : le petit-déj offre peu de choix.
“Basic Hotel, good for the price. Would go back.”
The Hotel is situated just off the Edgware Road and within easy walking distance of Marble Arch tube station. It is a converted small old 19centuary house full of safety features insisted upon by the Fire Regulations. Staff are very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The room had a double bed, 2 sides against the wall and just enough room to move around the other 2 sides......small. Spotlessly clean also the en-suite which was engineered, not to say shoe horned into a 3feet 6inch square! Had shower basin and WC. Everything worked... good job I am fairly slim! Tea making, fridge, coffee, hairdrier, tv, internet. Breakfast is given to you in a basket the previous evening and comprises cereal, croisant and yogourt to eat in your room the next morning. The room was at the back of the Hotel and very quiet for central London. Edgware Road is "Little Middle-East" these days and full of Indian, Hallal, Turkish etc resaurants and shops, some expensive, some very reasonable, all open late; I had an excellent Lebanese meal; superb Baklava from the shop opposite the Hotel. The Masons Arms near by is a pub with a history as the gaol where prioners were kept before they went to Tyburn, just written history...no tours and good real English Ale.
“ok for overnight”
There are no level rooms avail--they used the main floor for there overnight workers. We weren't able to access WIFII in the room had to go the lobby area. The rooms are small like most european room. OK if just yousrelf or a couple. Not reccommend if staying a long time. Not much room to store clothes or luggage .Bathrropms small an only a shower. They were clean and bed comfortable.24 hr desk service and were friendly and helpfull with directions and helped with carrying luggage upstairs. No lift.We were there do to a layover overnight...Food market across the street .A few blocks from the main road to get a bus.
“Situation idéale pour le shopping....”
Petit hôtel sympa, sans prétention, idéalement situé pour aller faire du shopping dans Oxford Street ou pour un picnic à Hyde Park !! attention toutefois les chambres sont très très petites, mais pour un week-end on s'en contente.
“OK AS A BASE”
Close to Oxford street with under ground 5 mins walk.Ideal hotel as a base
“No effort...”
The staff were very helpful and nice!!! Well done...but sth that made me a bad impression was that the towels were smelly, all the way every time they changed them!!And at the end of our stay the toilet was smelly too, the real stuff anyway! Good try but no effort at the essential like hygiene!! Too much cheap refreshener.
“it's OK”
The room was very small indeed and the hallways very tiny too, but the bed was alright and bedsheets were absolutely clean so were the towels. It is obviously not a luxuriuos hotel, however if you need a place in the city centre to sleep it is perfectly fine. Shower, toilet, kettle and coffee were there as well.
“bien rapport qualité prix a LONDRES”
Le seul probleme est que l'on doit recuperer le petit dejeuner la veille dans une corbeille (cereales, croissants, yaourts, jus de fruit, lait) un peu bruyant aussi
“Barely adequate”
Principal problem is very narrow corridors and stairs, with doors squeezed in (presumably to accommodate fire regs) making them even narrower at critical points. TV reception (room 12) was appalling, despite it being on the top floor. Two channels only - BBC2 and, I tink, a snowy Channel 5. Soap? Yes. Towel? Yes. Shampoo? No.
“not impressed”
hotel description was false as the place was dirty and not very welcoming
