“Great location”
A lovely hotel! Fantastic views of the Canary Wharf area, close to the DLR station. Very modern decor. Would recommend to anyone.
“Well pleased”
Great weekend price make for fantastic value stay in 5 star hotel. The extra costs (the bar, telephone, internet, restaurant are high but these are not necessary as there are plenty of good and cheap bars restaurants internet providers in the Canary Wharf complex. the staff are unfailing friendly and brilliantly helpful.
“Very nice”
I asked for a high floored room overlooking the quay and on check in we were upgraded to an executive room which had an amazing view and a fabulous bed. The hotel is right next to west india quay tube station and a short walk from canary wharf. This hotel is a bit far out of town but if you want to stay somewhere a bit different canary wharf is a lovely area, very safe and clean. All the staff were very polite. This place is maybe missing the wow factor to make it a 5 star but overall a very nice stay

“Can't wait to go back - good location to City Airport with access to both DLR and Jubilee Line”
Excellent location - within 5 min walk to DLR and 10 to Jubilee Line which was great given that when we were there the DLR line was not operational all day Saturday and Sunday in preparation for Olympics. From City Airport get the DLR to Poplar and then walk to the hotel - there is a lift to street level. It is not worth changing at Poplar to travel one stop for West India Docks. Jamie Olivers Italian is 10 mins walk from the hotel - best to reserve for Friday or Saturday - good value and friendly service. We used Jubilee line mostly which was very efficient and goes to Bond Street which is great for shopping. Took the DLR to Greenwich, crossed the Meridian line which is inside the Maritime Museum (entry cost £7) and saw a Stars by Night show at the Planetarium in the Royal Observatory which was very interesting for adults and children. It is a pity that there are not late night restaurants around Canary Wharf, kitchens seems to close at 10pm except for Carluccio's which was open till 11pm. All in all the hotel is well situated for the O2 and the city and close to City Airport (20 mins by DLR). We would return.
