Great hotel that is centrally located.

Pros: Central and convenient location, room size, executive lounge and ample restaurant options.
Location: Near Hyde Park, Knigtsbridge, Mayfair, and surrounded by other hotels and interesting tourist locations.
Enjoyed my stay. Value fir money. Friendly staff.

Pros: Location, staff.
Location: Great back street pubs, walking distance to all main areas and we ate in Nobu next door.
Great base location if you don't mind a little walking as we walked to all main areas from hotel

Better than far more expensive hotels nearby...

Having stayed at some of the far more expensive hotels nearby I was interested to experience the Park Lane Hilton. Quite simply this is one of the best hotel stays I've experienced. We had an executive level room and the view and attentive nature of The staff in the executive lounge was excellent. One recommendation would be however to breakfast in the main restaurant rather than the excutive lounge. Far better selection of food. That said the quiet exclusive surrounds of the lounge and complimentary evening drinks and canapés make the exec lounge worth the extra. Throughout the staff were very friendly and attentive an the views across London from the room were stunning.

Close to Hyde Park VIP event

Pros: Nothing on this visit, it did not set itself apart from any other hotel, which was not the case on previous visits.
Cons: All of the above.
Location: VIP Hyde Park events.
We booked a Kingsize room and upon arrival we were upgraded to a very small room where we could hardly move, albeit with good views. The extractor did not work, we only had a luke warm shower there was a mix up with room service when we returned in the evening, we did not have time to raise the issue on arrival as we were late for the HP event. Also at breakfast we were constantly rushed and hovered over by the waitress, we had not finished and she gave us the bill to sign, and kept removing plates before we were finished and was constantly hovering by the table making us feel uncomfortable. We have used this hotel before the the Hyde Park events but will not return based upon our last visit.

Perfect stay

Pros: Location. Modern.
Excellent hotel. Perfectly positioned opposite Hyde park. Short walk to Oxford Street and even closer to the Tube. Everything you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.

Hotel with a spectacular London view

Pros: Good location and helpful friendly service in most Departments
Cons: Housekeeping service and communication
Location: Very handy location, especially for Sheperds Market, adjacent to the rear of the hotel where there are many good bars and a variety of eateries
Enjoyed our two night stay, but housekeeping staff tried to come in at 8am each morning whilst still in bed, and then later during breakfast removed our towels and soap . Despite two requests these items did not reappear until late afternoon !

Disappointing hotel versus costs

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Better staff - upgrade of the rooms and interiors
Location: Around 5 minutes walking to the London metro
Internet charge even as it has been complementary - check in - too long - overall the hotel is more focused on business dinners than serving the hotel guests

Over night. For an award dinner

The hotel itself is OK. Staff excellent. The only issue and I am not sure if the night club at the side of the hotel is run by the hotel, but beware.... the security staff are rude and extremely aggressive. We went as a group of 8, we are all professionals and although had a drink, in no way where any of us in a state that we could not stand nor hold a polite conversation. One of the lady's in thee group was told to wait outside to sober up! The security guy was rude and aggressive. After having paid the money to enter, this action was not nesscary, and there was no way one lady was going to be left by the rest of the group. The security guards pushed the others in the club, they asked why one could not wait and how long infact they expected this person to wait till allowed in, they gave no reason just kept pushing the others in. After I (who was infact the one made to stay outside) suggested I would and make an official complaint, did they let me in. The rest of the time in the club the guard just kept horrasting me and when I made a complaint that a very drunk group of girls where taking our drinks, he asked me what my issue was and did I want to go outside. After paying 400 GBP of a bottle of Gin and the same for a bottle of vodka for our group, I think the issue was quite obvious So beware of this place
