Ottimo Hotel

Siamo appena tornati da una breve vacanza a Londra. L'hotel Hilton Park Lane offre un servizio impeccabile, colazione eccellente non manca nulla, ottime anche le cene al Ristorante Podium cibo ottimo e raffinato. Personale gentilissimo ti coccolano dall'inizio della vacanza alla fine. Un grazie particolare a Maria e Francesco del Ristorante Podium gentilissimi e professionali. Albergo molto comodo anche per la vicinanza della metro e della fermata del Bus. Solo della camera non sono rimasta entusiasta ma avevo prenotato una standard. Nella Holl tutte le mattine fiori freschi curati da un fiorista design. Se andate a Londra consiglio veramente questo Hotel

great location

Pros: the rooms were quite spacious and they cater for smokers having set aside 2 floors
Cons: only a small criticism was that the water could have been hotter.
Location: the hotel has a cocktail bar on top floor,great views of London. the restaurants of Mayfair are only a short walk away
great value for money considering how close the hotel is to the west end

Great location, great rooms.

Very nice stay, great place to stay for a weekend in London. Staff is great, rooms great, rooftop bar expensive but worth it for the view.

The hotel was very busy and did not have enough reception staff. The lifts have a mind of there own and you can be kept waiting for what seems like forever. The carpets on the room levels were dirty and stained. We had no hot water on two occasions but when we finally got to reception the wait to speak to someone was too long, so we just accepted Luke warm showers. The location is excellent and the staff were friendly. The doorman was particularly professional. Overall this hotel is not value for money. I would definitely not return

Underwhelming

Pros: The hotel was centrally located, a block from the underground, on the edge of the park and close to the action (Piccadilly and Oxford streets).
Cons: front desk staff attitude and lobby cleaniness
When I arrived at the Hilton Park Lane, it was a mass of humanity. The front desk staff was overwhelmed and not attentive to arriving guests. I arranged for early check in though Hilton, but this was not honored until I made a fuss. Then, the room that they offered was an insult, I'm not sure if this was because I was a single woman traveling solo?? Finally, I found the right front desk person, and he finally made it better. While I was waiting 3 hours for my room, the lobby bathroom was disgusting and was not properly stocked with basic toiletries. On an upbeat note, the hotel was centrally located, a block from the underground, on the edge of the park and close to the action.

Bodde på detta hotell 4 nätter över Nyår, bekvämt och perfekt lokaliserat nära alla Londons attraktioner, superbra frukost. Något ouppmärksam personal.

A great Hotel has lost its management essence

Pros: I have stayed here countless times before and liked it, but this time around, Its like finally, I got tired of managing things.
Cons: Of course, Janitor services, Room Service, and a little application of some human angle hospitality
Location: I have nothing about the Hotel location. It remains one of the most appointed 5-star addresses on Park Lane.
For the duration of my stay, The sink in the bathroom did not work! It was not funny brushing your teeth and watching the precipitation swirl around without emptying.

Very expensive for run of the mill!

I was really disappointed with my 2 night stay as it was an expensive hotel and therefore expectations were high. However on arrival our room wasn't ready - not a problem in itself - but we were told we'd be put down as priority and it would be about 40 minutes. Two hours later and several visits to reception eventually saw our room available. The room was spacious and very nice but nothing special really. The breakfast room was far too small and the queues were very long. We were then seated next to the toaster - not only hot but also meant we had a constant audience whilst we ate our breakfast. No tickets were left for the restaurant on New Years eve and I think the explanation was we could pay £100 each to stand at the bar! Paying for the parking on the way out was also a difficult experience as we had to find a member of staff as the machines would only take cash - difficult at £50 a night! All in all ok but wouldn't recommend to others.

Nice hotel, minor damage to room

Nice room and view but several small defects in the room: torn blind, small hole in the wall and damaged door stop. Not major issues but would expect better from a Hilton in general and definitely from the one on Park Lane!
