It was walking distance to all my destinations and to train/bus stations as well as shopping center and supermarket. the staff was very nice and helpful.

“London Eye : Bonne auberge de jeunesse”

Pour etre satisfait de cette HoStel, il faut s'attendre au confort d'une auberge de jeunesse ... chambre dortoir 15 personne, salle commune etc... Donc pour le confort faut repasser, par contre l'ambiance, les rencontres, la vie dans la salle commune ... parfait. Hotel a 5/10 mn du metre Lamberth North qui est vraiment pratique pour bouger dans Londres. Le staff a l'acceuil est disponible et toujours a l'ecoute ... vraiment un tres bon sejour mis a part les chambres ... ou le bruit et omni present ... mais je m'en doutais avant mon arrivé. Sanitaire correct, et eau chaude pratiquement tout le temps (seul probleme rencontré est quand tout les pensionnaire decide de prendre leurs douches en meme temps)

“Just what I needed.”

It was precisely what I needed. A bed, overnight for a cheap price. The breakfast buffet was a little basic, but still provided all the essentials. I would definitely stay there again.

Petit déjeuner correct. Ambiance routard qui rappelle notre jeunesse. Douches parfois froide mais avec un peu de patience, on arrive à trouver de l'eau chaude.

One of the best things about this hostel is how it is located 5 minutes walking distance from the London Eye and Big Ben. The neighborhood is peaceful and quaint, while still being within walking distance of downtown. All you have to do is cross a bridge and voila. Warning: AVOID TAKING A TAXI late at night. After 2200 you will be paying through the nose for this service. From the airport to the london eye ran me about 70 pounds. This is no joke. Now, getting around London is confusing beyond description; however, chances are, your hostel will offer a map to assist you in orienting yourself to this stellar city. Here, location is key and facilities are average for this low cost. These rooms are strictly crash pads. The idea is, enjoy the city and come back tired enough to knock out. You probably won't be able to sit upright in your bed. They offer small lockers for valuables and a luggage room for your larger items. Breakfast, showers, and linen provided. You may rent a locker and/or towel. You are within walking distance to a laundromat.

“If you need just a bed and a shower,this is your place”

A bed in 12 bedroom dormitory. No A/C. Free Wi Fi. BREAKFAST INCLUDED. Convinient personal socket and lamp on your bed. Commnon, but clean bathrooms and showerrooms.There lokers for valubles (small fee per/day). DO NOT forget to bring your own towel and slippers. (there are only towels at the recption for a fee) The rooms are locked at all times via codes. The correct code is given to these who live inside. Good location just 3-5 mins walk to Lamberth Bridge and 5 mins to London Undergrond (station Lamberth North). The neigbourhood is quiet,well lit and secure. 10 to 15 mins walk to any major sighseeing sports (London Eye,Big Ben,House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey,National Teather) It was pretty good for me, 'cos I was out all day long and I was geting back for a shower and sleep. The hostel is full of young people which also do the same (are out for the day and return to sleep only). ALSO DO NOT forget to use the free bycicles spreaded around the town. There free up to 30mins,1.00 pound for an hour,etc, BUT you need credit card.

“Bien situé”

Pour un prix correct une auberge de jeunesse plus qu'un hôtel dans un quartier calme à un quart du centre touristique. Très bien pour dormir avec des boules quies et prendre une douche; si la situation et le prix sont plus importants que le confort.

“Great location, very quiet, basic accommodation”

This hostel is located very close to the North Lambeth Tube and Waterloo train stations. It is near a very busy street, but is very quiet so we did not hear any of the sirens we heard all night long at a more expensive hotel located 800m away right on that busy street. The rooms are spartan, but the lounge is very comfy with lots of chairs, a pool table, a couch, and big screen TV. Internet access is very speedy and accessible in the rooms. Each bunk has a light and outlet to charge electronics (although the lack of a shelf means you will be sleeping with your laptop or iPod/Pad).

“the kids are alright”

You get what you paid for. The kids living there are absolutely nice and pleasant. I've stayed there for two weeks and have left my luggage in the room many nights when I was gone and none of my items ever got stolen.
