“Recommend room 41”

I stayed in Room 11 and 41. I love room 41 and would recommend rooms at higher floors. 1. Very good location w/ exellent transportation convenience 2. No elavator 3. The interior design is still under improvement for certain rooms 4. It is suitable for travellers with a limited budget

“An OK Hotel”

The hotel was ideal for a weekend away where all you want is somewhere to sleep. The location of the hotel is spot on being minutes away from Paddington and Lancaster Gate Tube stations. It is a bit tired and in need of some loving care, but work is progressing to improve this. The breakfast was basic but ample after a heavy night.

“Not expensive - don't expect too much!”

Good location, friendly staff. But the room was strangely configured with an unusual step which had to be watched carefully! Bathroom very old. Walls thin - loud talking and banging from a neighbouring room until near midnight. The 'continental breakfast was in no way European in style - just triangles of white toast with jam/marmalade or cheese (on second thoughts, maybe that was the 'continental aspect . . .).

It is obvious that the hotel has not had any work done/decorating/restyling in a long time, both the internal and external look a bit shabby.

“worse hotel ever”

dirty, tiny room-just enough room for the small single bed. Paint peeling off walls and ceiling. The "shower" was a tin coffin-like structure - rusty and dirty. Windows were damaged and not secure. Really not a good experience. Would only consider returning to this hotel if it was the last choice. Considering the condition of the hotel it was way overpriced.

“NEVER AGAIN”

DO NOT STAY HERE. Shower was disgusting, and tiny with horrible water pressure. There was hair on the floor. We were placed on the fourth floor and had to hike up the stairs with no elevator. The pillows were miniscule and when we asked for more they gave us ONE extra when there was clearly two of us. Location was alright, but we still had to pay 15 pound cab fare to get remotely close to city center.
