“Good Value, Friendly Service”

We were looking for a resonably priced hotel for sleeping, as we planned to spend every waking hour seeing the sites. The room was small but comfortable, and the location was convient to transportation(the Underground). The staff was friendly and very helpfull. We would definitly stay there again.

“Clean and very reasonably priced”

Delighted to find a triple room which, though compact, was very comfortable and clean. Paid for room only; a breakfast "pack" could be purchased (there was no dining room that we could see), but we had lots to do in London so ate elsewhere. Just a short walk from West Kensington underground station, on the District line. No hesitation in recommending this hotel!

Notre chambre était un peu petite,mais n'y rentrant que le soir cela était suffisant.La chambre était bien équipée,confortable,salle de bain moderne.

Hotel bien placé, à proximité d'une bouche de métro et des principaux sites touristiques. Les chambres sont quelque peu petites mais amplement suffisant pour le temps que l'on y passe Je le conseille a tout le monde, de plus les prix sont intéressants !

“Better than a 2 star - needs to be upgraded to 3”

This hotel is two short blocks from West Kensington tube stop, this hotel is a good place to stay if you plan to sleep and sight see. No pool or gym, but I didn't fly 3,000 miles to swim - I came to see the sights. The neighborhood is being renovated in an economic upswing and parts of it are stil a bit rough, but the location and the staff made it a great place to stay. The only bad part was the elevator was broken so if you are on the top floor you will have to walk.

“Great Value”

We used this hotel as a base for visiting Chelsea Flower Show and it couldn't have been more convenient for us. Literally 5 minutes from the tube (West Kensington). The room, although a wee bit small was big enough for the two of us and was kept clean and tidy.The staff were friendly and very helpful offering advice on how to get here or there.

“Excellent Value for a Budget Hotel”

The hotel is just 5 minutes from the nearest tube station, so access to all of central London is extremely easy. However, had we wanted to park at the hotel, they wanted to charge 36 quid/day, so we chose not to (& we didn't see any adjacent car park once we got there). Ground floor rooms suffered badly from street noise, with the windows open (but hey-ho, that's cricket!). Overall, the room was extremely clean & modern, albeit compact. The bathroom was the size & layout that you'd find in a caravan, but again, clean & perfectly adequate. Breakfast is not an option, even though the hotel has a large 'Bed & Breafast' sign on the wall. The biscuits/juice they have on sale in reception can be bought far more cheaply yourself (should you consider that to be a breakfast). None of the above should be considered negatively, as it's all in the 'budget' price. What you get is much better than what you would expect from the price range.

“Top Budget Hotel”

I was confused with the variance of the reviews for this hotel, but we gave it a shot despite traveling with kids! We stayed there from July 31st, 2007 to August 3rd. Husband and wife, 2 boys 10 and 7, and a girl aged 2. Hotel is fully remodeled, no garbage or unfinished stairs as some of the scary pictures showed. I think some travelers had horrible luck just before the summer season and suffered all the remodeling. We had double bed and bunk beds (attached to the wall). It matched our expectations, for the price level which we thought unbeatable in the London Central Area. You come to London budget hotels to sleep. Therefore, we expect: reasonable staff, easy access in and out, good public transportation nearby, and clean rooms. We got all that here. It certainly does not qualify as a minimalist hotel - it has a horrible artificial grass outside, a very cheesy yard. But it was also very clean. Surprisingly, we did not find any of the questionable reputation service providers that some others saw in the 'hood. We saw none and got back every night between 10:30 pm and midnight. Neighborhood is very quiet. Use the Tesco nearby, you will save a ton in the most expensive city in the world- get water bottles there. Buses that stop less than a 5 min walk from the hotel: 27, 9, 22, 24. The next twelve months are guaranteed, if they repaint it then, it will have a longer life.

“Un hôtel calme et proche du Tube.”

Rien à redire sur ce petit hôtel sympathique, proche du métro (500 mètres), situé dans une rue calme et arborée. Vous êtes en plein Kensington, K. High Street est à 200 mètres avec ses boutiques, le Royal Albert Hall et les grands musées sont à 5 minutes en bus. La chambre était propre et très fonctionnelle, c'est idéal si vous souhaitez juste passer vos nuit au calme, après des journées passées dans la frénésie londonienne.
