Kanteen - Situated on the mezzanine level, Kanteen is flooded with natural light from the large windows at the front of the building and the glass bricks at the rear. The room has stylish red-and-blue leather chairs. The menu is modern international, with dishes such as Seared Filet of Tuna Nicoise and Buffalo Mozzarella with Figs. Kanteen serves fresh modern cuisine, including a full English breakfast, lunch and dinner.

K Lounge - Open exclusively to hotel guests, this low-ceilinged room features brown-leather sofas and a modern, open fireplace along one wall. K Lounge serves Continental breakfast each morning and anything from pizza to steak to Thai green curry throughout the day. Coffee by Starbucks. A wide variety of beers, wines, and cocktails is also available. DJs play Friday and Saturday nights.

“Excellent, though very impersonal.”

My only gripe was the receptionist whose understanding of English not particualy good. One of them had never heard of the Houses of Parliament and asked me for the Post Code....the taxi driver had heard of it!!!!!!

“Perfect surprise!”

We were very pleased with this hotel. This was my fifth stay in London in the last three years and it was definitely the best one by far. The room was surprisingly large for a standard double, especially in the UK. It actually contained a very comfortable king bed with a separate sofa area, so there was no need to upgrade. The bathroom was modern and clean. The staff was very friendly and we were able to leave our bags for the day on our last day for free while we enjoyed the city before our late flight home. Although there is a charge for in-room Wifi, the computers in the library area were free and my daughter was able to hook up her Mac so we could Skype our family back home. They also allowed free printing which came in handing for printing out travel plans, directions, etc. The Underground is a short walk away and there is a great supermarket in the local mall for purchasing breakfast, drinks, and inexpensive snacks for the room. The hotel does have a pricey spa and expensive dining facilities which we did not use. There is also a club that is very busy at night. We did not go to the club, and happily were not disturbed by any noise in our room. For those of you who know London, it is located in Zone 2. I would definitely stay here again.

“Excellent Hôtel !!!”

Très bon hôtel, très bien placé (200m du métro,bus,resto,grand magasin Westfield), chambre spacieuse en très bon état, personnel accueillant et sympathique, seul petit bémol, on entend assez bien les gens passer dans le couloir (mais bon c'est souvent le problème de tout les hôtel), conseil: ne pas prendre le petit déjeuner à l'hôtel (cher vu le peu de chose proposé), surtout qu'on trouve a 200m plusieurs petit resto-dej style "starbuks". Nous y avons passé 5 nuits. En résumé je vous conseil vivement cette établissement. Après 3 séjours à Londres c'est nettement le meilleurs hôtel où l'on ai séjourné.

“Great Hotel, but not quite central enough.”

Everything about our stay at the K West was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. This was despite the fact that it was over the Christmas holidays. The room was large and clean, the bed soft and comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was also bright and spacious and came with a full compliment of service items. The room was also very quiet at night and we had no problem getting a full night sleep. The only downside of the hotel is that it's a little further away from central London than I had imagined. If you are going to be seeing the tourist sites then it might be worthwhile to spend a bit more money and stay closer to the Covenant Garden area. For the price however, the location can't be beat.

“Amazing Experience”

Clean, modern and trendy; some sort of W hotel but much more affordable and without the pretentiousness... Super friendly staff, awesome rooms (they gave me a free upgrade but regular rooms are great as well), and adequate location (two blocks away from metro station). The hotel restaurant is expensive though, although within walking distance you have a Starbucks or other several local deli shops much more affordable. In general it was the best place I have stayed in when being in London. Amazing for what you pay and the place to stay for now on to whenever I am in London .

“Bon chic, bon genre”

L'hôtel se retrouve dans un quartier décentré mais tout de même desservi par le métro (ligne rouge). De plus, à quelques minutes de marche on peut retrouver le plus grand centre commercial d'Europe, le Westfield London Commercial Centre. Pratique si le magasinage est dans nos cartons. Même les grandes boutiques de luxe s'y retrouvent! L'utilisation d'anciens locaux de la BBC pour y faire cet hôtel est toutefois raté à l'extérieur. L'endroit est aussi moche que les résidences à proximité. Mais pour le prix raisonnable qu'il nous a été possible d'avoir en pleine période des fêtes, nous n'avons aucun problème à suggérer cet hôtel. Les chambres sont propres... aucun problème avec la climatisation ou le chauffage... ni avec les salles de bain qui sont spacieuses, modernes et propres. Un seul hic... la connexion Internet n'est pas incluse dans le prix de la chambre et l'air est plutôt sec. Le service est bien. Sans plus, ni moins. Parfait style Anglais... i.e. exiger, car autrement, vous n'aurez rien. Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de profiter du bain turc, du sauna et de la salle de gym mais les commentaires de visiteurs rencontrés étaient positifs.

“A great find at a reasonable price”

I was happy to discover this hotel! My accommodations included a large room and bathroom, refrigerator in the room, ice machine and quiet surroundings in a residential neighborhood. Within a 2 block radius, there was a tube and bus station, a variety of restaurants, a mail drop box, a grocery store, and a STARBUCKS! An added plus was the free computer and internet access. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again!

“K West - Up There with the Best”

If you're traveling to London and want to stay in a very nice boutique hotel, choose K West. The staff was polite and amenable, the room was nice, and the hotel itself is surrounded by shopping and entertainment.

“Nice, spacious hotel room”

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is right near the Shepherd's Bush tube station, and I found it quite easy to take the train to the central London tourist-y spots.
