“very nice hotel”
only thing missing was - no biscuits with the tea & coffee in the room
“Highly Recommended.”
The stay at the hotel was a pleasure. We picked this hotel because it was a newer hotel, only 2 years old. A very quiet hotel while we stayed there. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is about 7/10 of a mile from the nearest tube station which was the fulhum broadway station which was not a very far ride to the center of London. The Hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood that you can walk in at any time of the night. The prices were reasonable for London. The room was a decent size and you might want to stop at a place called Katherines Pastisserie on the corner of Kings road and Bagleys road for a simple breakfast on the way to the tube. Enjoy your trip.
“Great hotel if you have time and energy to commute”
The Jurys Inn Chelsea is a very nice hotel--clean, comfortable, air-conditioned. My friend and I stayed there two weeks in July, and we had a totally positive experience with the hotel and the hotel staff. The only problem was that this hotel is rather far from central London, and it did take us longer to get where we wanted to go from the Jurys Inn than from other hotels we have stayed in before.
“Modern and clean in London? Tough to beat.”
While as the other reviews here will tell you, it's a 20-min. walk to the Fulham Broadway tube station (some of which is walled-off construction), everything else about this hotel was great. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, quiet, and tastefully decorated, the bathroom was gorgeous, and overall the Jurys Inn Chelsea was a great place to rest in between walking around London. The few times we took cabs, it was maybe 12 pounds to get to the middle of the West End. Furthermore, once you've walked down the length of the main street the hotel is on, you get to a very charming section of Fulham, with a gorgeous park, and several great grocery stores and cafes.
“great value for money”
this hotel was spotless and very comfortable. I was only there for one night for bonfire night, but found it very convenient. It's only a 10-15 min walk from Fulham Broadway station, and actually cheaper than hostels in the same area. I will be staying there again next time I go to London.
“Well run hotel”
Jurys Inn Chelsea is a very well run establishment. The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were orignally booked in for one night and extended our stay twice. The one caviat with the hotel is its location. Imperial Wharf, where it is located, is a 15 minute walk from the nearest tube stop. Fortunately, it is a pleasant walk in nice weather, and taxis run frequently in front of the hotel (it is a 4 pound fare to the Fulham Broadway tube stop). I would stay here again, because the location, while a little out of the way, is very quiet at night.
“Great Value but just ever so slightly out of the way...”
This was a great value; the only drawback was the hotel's distance from the nearest tube stop (Fulham Broadway)--not a huge distance but not exactly convenient if you have a lot of luggage (whether wheeled or not), or if, like us, you were simply dog tired and looking forward to relaxing after a hard day's walking. Would we stay here again? Well, we'll likely look for something a little more centrally-located. However, overall--and especially considering the inflated London hotel rates--this was a good experience; plus, the money we saved allowed us to do a number of things we otherwise would've had to pass up: so I guess chances are we'll stay there again.
“Modern,Clean, ideal for Wimbledon and Chelsea”
Ideal for overnight stays. We stayed over here for Wimbledon as it's only a couple of tube stops away on the same line. It is just a short ride - couple of stops to the tube (Fulham Boradway) from the hotel, but we walked it and it's easy enough. Also great for Chelsea FC, as the tube stop is literally up the road from Chelsea, so ideal to stay over when visiting Stamford Bridge, which we did. Nice staff and food was nice too.
“Excellent and Superb!!”
Nothing more to say. The hotel is a bit distance away from Fulham Broadway station but it's worth it. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. I definitely will stay here again.
“Excellent service, reasonable price.”
My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a romantic weekend in London and it was the reviews from other customers what really help me to decide. For a reasonable price we had a very ample, clean room, although sometimes a funny smell came out from nowhere. The service was always very helpful and the personal quite attentive. The nearest tube station is that of Fulham Bradway, at a nice 10 min. walk, and the buses offer a frequent service too. So, if you're looking for a friendly, nice hotel at a really good value price you may find this one quite satisfactory. Enjoy.
