Room: Everything in the room was excellent except the bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable. They only other issue we had was the quality of the breakfast was poor. When ordering from the breakfast menu, they got our order wrong on 2 of the 3 mornings and the food was luke warm, at best.

This was an excellent location, so close to transportation and several different types of restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel deserves a round of applause. Their food was delicious and they always went out of their way to make sure you were satisfied. So accommodating and all so pleasant. Our hotel room was a twin and quite a fair size for a London hotel. Exactly like the picture on their website. Will definitely stay there again.

We did an advanced full payment for a premium room for 4 nights. Due to flight delay, we arrived at 11:45pm. Reception staff said the room was under maintenance and that another room had been booked in a sister hotel. I then scrolled through past comments in Expedia and realised all customers were given the same excuse. I asked to speak to a manager for refund. They said there was no manager, and I had to call a reservation hotline the next morning to handle it myself. After an hour, they sent us to Ceasar hotel at 1am. Reception said Indigo didn't reserve a room for us, and they always sent last minute guests to them. At one time, Ceasar was full when the guests arrived, and they actually took up the mess by helping guests to find another hotel. Luckily, Expedia has a 24 hour live chat with real CS. The kind CS was Babbli. He's so empathetic that he offered to help with the refund so I could book another hotel. So be careful when you book the premium room. By the way, they sent customers to a standard room with a cheaper price too.

My check in time was confirmed as 1500 but my room was not ready until 1615, leaving me waiting around. I am entitled to a guaranteed late checkout as an IHG Gold Elite member but I was told by front desk staff this may not be possible. 3 times my room was entered the following morning starting at 8:15am by staff, twice without knocking. Manager stated he would look into my concerns and email me but almost a week later, no such email has been received. Unacceptable for a 499GBP/night hotel. Would absolutely not recommend.

48 hours in London!
Nice clean room which had a safe and mini fridge. Hotel was quiet and on a nice street neat Paddington station…so super easy to get around. Bathroom was small and shower was in poor condition. Hie. Wheel off on the shower door, and spray nozzle leaking at the hose. Front desk was great…Raz was really helpful.

Very convenient with location near paddington station. Room was very quiet despite being in a busier location. Easy walk to Hyde park. Probably much better areas for shopping and restaurants in London but the ease of transportation made that not matter much.

I book upgraded room for $300 per night, on my arrival it wasn't available. They ended up giving me the room from the sister hotel next door. The room was very small, and cheaper in price. I wasn't issued the price difference refund. Manager wasn't available. The worst service! I am glad I am a travel blogger and definitely will add this hotel in my article of the hotels not to book while traveling to London. I took a great pictures expectations vs reality.

I booked two superior king rooms based in a review of the Hotel Indigo Paddington based on a review from The Points Guy. Upon check in we were informed that our rooms had a maintenance issue and we were escorted to the property’s sister hotel, Mercure, through a connecting hallway. Our rooms in the Mercure were standard king rooms and when I checked the rate and pictures through Expedia, far inferior to the rooms we had booked at Indigo. I mentioned this to staff in both hotels and they assured me the rooms were the same. I have photos of the inferior room and they are nearly identical to the standard room at the Mercure. I have reached out to hotel staff for a price correction and have yet to hear back. Based on this issue and depending on the resolution offered, I will likely contact The Points Guy to offer my tales of caution to other travelers. Buyer beware that this property may bait and switch you!

Liked the room. Although it was small, it was cozy. Bed was comfortable. Property is conveniently located next to underground tube and express transportation to airport. Nice hotel, great location.
We had a few small issues during the stay which were promptly dealt with. Room was smaller than expected but very comfortable. Bathroom was clean but starting to look a bit tired. Great location.

Like Hotel Indigo in Disguise
Ive stayed at a number of Hotel Indigos and unfortunately i dont think this one is in keeping with the brand. The design felt half hearted, the rooms are absolutely tiny, and the air conditioning is really inappropriate and the rooms end up like a sweatbox. The restaurant is the Bella Italia next door, but its so cramped in there breakfast wasnt exactly relaxing. It was clean, and the staff were helpful, but they are let down by what the hotel offers.

Just a little more effort required
Hotel was really nice….just disappointed because we had an early start on the last day & asked if they could do up a breakfast box for us, seeing as we had prepaid breakfast…..the day manager told us that the night manager had to organise it & when we asked the night manager, he said that he couldn’t do it….so we got nothing….😒
