“Budget Accommodation in Hammersmith”

Hotel was better than I expected from a budget hotel. Location was convenient for the tube. We were in a front room of the hotel and road was quite noisy. Room was basic but clean. Curtain could do with being rehung as hanging off the railing. We skipped breakfast and went to the Cafe Rouge opposite.

“you get what you pay for”

when you compare the price with Holiday Inn and others in Hammersmith, you really have nothing to complain about. hotel is quite a long walk from tube, seemed longer as it was raining. overpowering smell of air freshner in bedroom; tv not working in room, but was dealt with straight away. toilet seat loose and a bit scarey; radiators nice and hot and able to adjust; en-suite very small, but shower worked well and plenty of hot water. breakfast was very basic, but staff very jolly. ideal hotel if you haven't much money.
