“Great Location, thin walls”

Normally I don't stay on this side of London, not sure why, just sort of works out that way. While this hotel is on the outer edge of what I would consider the core of London, being right above the Queensway tube stop made it incredibly convenient and simple to get to everything you could need. The rooms were a little on the small side, being used to hotels on the west coast of the US. This is an older hotel with very thin walls, I had two really obnoxious people in the room next door whose conversations and TV's I could hear through the walls of my room

“Good location - exactly what I was looking for”

Good hotel. Good location, You get what you pay for, so was exactly what I was expecting. It was nice of the receptionist to ask me whether I prefered a room with a view to Hyde Park - but noisy; or a room with no view, but quiet. Selected the latter, and it was just that. The room size was fine, and cleanliness also good. Overall, what I wanted for the trip

“Good Location for Central Line”

I stayed one week in this hotel. The most important problem was the lack of minibar in the rooms. However, the hotel is just near the Queensway Subway Station and very convinient to use the Central Line. Most of the business in the City of London is around the Central Line. It also gives you the possibility to access to Hyde Park. Therefore, I was happy with my choice.

“Convenient location.”

Location of the hotel is very convenient. Close to tube stations on 3 different lines (Queensway on Central Line and Bayswater on Circle and District Line). Hotel is well kept and clean.

“Great position,great breakfast,great service,good value”

It is showing it's age, but in such a handy location right next to Queensway tube station and Bayswater Rd. service tops and buffet breakfast excellent, with Queensways shops and restaurants right there and Bayswater tube station just another short distance along.

“Great location”

The location of this hotel was great, right above the Queensway tube station, on Bayswater Road. The lobby is small, but adequate, and the bar and restaurant very nice. Our room was at the end of the hotel over the tube entrance, on the corner which probably accounted for the little extra space. We had two twin beds, a tv stand, closet and a desk and chair. The carpets were a bit shabby and showed signs of wear. I could have used an extra blanket, as I thought the bedding was a bit thin but it was actually warm in London, so we didn't miss it. The towels were also a bit thin, and no washcloths, but we were prewarned by other Expedia reviewers, so brought our own. When we checked out, we called down for help with our luggage, and waited for 20 minutes. I finally went downstairs to see what the delay was, and found the concierge had forgotten us. He was most apologetic, and sent someone up immediately. They then waited outside with us for another 15 minutes trying to hail a cab so we could go to Paddiington station for the train to Heathrow. There is construction right now in front of the hotel making it very difficult for people to be dropped off or picked up there. Once that is done it will be much easier to get in and out by taxi. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would stay there again.
