Clean but tattyPosted 19-Jun-2014
Clean sheets & towels. Deferred maintenance for many years; walls, rugs, curtains shabby. Smelled musty. One woman nice, other staff members not so much. Good breakfast.

Disappointing Stay at HavenPosted 9-Jun-2014
Pros: Staff were pleasant.
Cons: Paint was dirty and chipped; door to bathroom was damaged; flooring everywhere was very well worn and looked dirty. Breakfast coffee was instant!!
Not good. The only positive was that the staff were friendly. Will not stay here again. Overpriced for what is offered.
Noisy and no working lift, near Edgware Rd stationPosted 3-May-2014
The room was noisy due to cars and buses and bathroom in need of lots and lots of redecoration. Receptionist was very friendly and there shops nearby and places to eat. Breakfast was English or Continental and was included, ok if on a budget.

a short distance to a tube station and bus stopsPosted 30-Mar-2014
Pros: so so
Cons: facilities written above
Location: the london zoo,the British museum, city excursion and so on watching a premier league game and a musical
I was impressive with kind hotel staff but the facilities such as bath and ventilation were rather poor.

Good bargain, comfortable, fairly convenientPosted 24-Mar-2014
The Haven Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff helped us check-in before the normal time, expediting the cleaning of our room. The room was small but not unusually so for a bargain in London. There was a lift for baggage. For security, keys are left at the desk when leaving the premises. The Haven is fairly convenient to Marylebone Station for trains and Underground. The neighborhood around it is fascinating and seems to have a large Lebanese population.

Good location, not bad for a two star hotelPosted 18-Mar-2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel Haven is fine for a two star hotel, it is quite expensive but the english breakfast on offer and good location, provides some value for the cost of the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, overall it was a decent stay :)

HAVEN, NOT HEAVENTPosted 15-Sep-2013 on Hotels.com
Location wise it is a very good Hotel. But, other facilities - no drinking water, small rooms, no chair in room, no extra electric connection even to charge your mobile and laptop, etc..... On a positive note, Good Breakfast and Wireless Internet Connection are available here. Can be considered if some one is travelling for a day to two trip... and alone of course, not with family.

Great Location - Thats About it!Posted 23-Jul-2013 on Hotels.com
I hated every minute of it. We arrived, to be informed that I had to leave my car key at reception, so that 'whoever' could move my car as and when necessary. I declined the offered, after requesting that a safe spot be found for which a spot was found. The first twin room they offered us was on the small side. The second was a little better but still not satisfactory. Overall, the hotel needs a full refurb and should be called Bed & Breakfast not Hotel as it is certainly not.
