“the grange rochester: hotel situé au calme et à proximité de tous les lieux touristiques”
Aprés avoir vu les avis j'ai décidé de reserver le grange rochester de part sa position au coeur de londres, pas du tout deçu bien au contraire, le personnel est trés accueillant, sympatique, disponible et notre séjour a été parfait
“tres bon hotel”
un seul regret personne dans le personnel ne parle français tres bien situe dans londres
“Quiet, Cute,Cozy. Loved it!”
Close to so much! Victoria station was a 5 min walk, Westminster Abbey 10 min walk(we got to see the Queen here), awesome bars and restaurants very near by. Large Park across the street from hotel, where children played soccer and walked dogs. Hop on Hop off tour bus stops at victoria station same as our airport bus. Would deffiently go back! 2 twin beds, but we scooted them together easily! great tv channels too!
“Recommended”
This was a nice clean hotel. I was impressed with the extra bed that they had put in the room for my daughter. It was only a 5 - 6 minute walk to Victoria Station and the underground. The neighborhood was nice and I think I got a really good rate all considered.
“A little gem!”
Quiet little hotel off the main strip. 10 minute walk to St. James or Victoria Station. Close to Westminster Abbey & the Parliament (10 to 15min walk). Not ideal if you have to drag lots of luggage around, but manageable for those not afraid of some walking. Breakfast (included) was very good and the service was excellent! We would go back!
“super break”
Very good location- quiet and pleasant outlook onto playing fields. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Bed was rather small for a double but generally we were delighted with our choice of hotel and would definately go back again.
“Rochester's residence”
The hotel stands in a relatively quiet area, but it is very close from Victoria Station. Not extremely traditional, but I could feel a bit of "British" atmosphere, which was very good. The room was clean. The color of the curtain, bed cover and furniture was matched and very pretty. It was very comfortable. It was pity that I stayed only one night, because I had to go to other place on the next day. I stayed at the Grange White Hall near the BM before, so I had a bit of idea what kind of the hotel it would be, so I felt like "I came back". I would bring my family next time to stay a bit longer to enjoy London.
“Good priced Hotel for the Location”
This hotel is such good value as it offers a high standard of quality for such a price in the centre of London and almost a stones throw from Victoria Station. It is located on Vincent Square so there are some rooms, which we had, that front onto the square (a park of trees and grass) and it is a quiet street with very little traffic noise at night. It is worth paying the extra to get the better room. The breakfast is expensive at £18 per person but there is a wide choice on offer. We'll definenitely use it again as we live in Brighton and come into Victoria Stn for trips up to London and we can stay over here. I realise It is also handy for visitors from abroad coming to London if arriving via Gatwick airport as there is a fast train from the airport into Victoria Stn.
“2 night stay”
Smaller hotel, offering friendly reception service, good quiet location conveniently placed near Victoria. Would definitely use this hotel in the future. Very good value.
“Good London Hotel”
This hotel is in a great location, very close to Westminster Abby and overlooks a nice green park. The hotel room we had was very spacious for London standards, and exceeded my expectations. Had a bit of trouble with the internet connection though and made numerous complaints/inquiries. The staff was very good at coming up to my room to tell me that yes there was a problem, but weren't so good at following through and fixing the problem. I only had internet access for the first night, and then it stopped working altogether and was never fixed. However, they were still wanting to charge me for my limited internet usage. I refused to pay after having a small discussion with the manager. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Westminster area of London, I just wouldn't recommend trying to get internet!
