Not impressed!

Posted 19-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Where do I start...
Location: Location was key to booking this hotel.
Over priced for what you get....a broom cupboard. Staff are nice and considerate but this does not change the hotel facilities...."bijou" to put it politely.

Loved it!

Fantastic location and staff. Very close to tube station (which was convenient for suitcases) and bus stops. Very small room, but clean and modern.

Euan & Nadine love getaway

Posted 8-Jul-2014
Just stayed at the hotel from the 05/07/14 to 07/07/14. We stayed in a deluxe double room on the ground floor. Room was a bit small but very clean. View from the room was none existing as we were looking onto the back of the hotel. Not enough staff on at the front desk and they seemed to not know what they were doing at times. Overall great location to base yourself but may look at other hotels first before booking this one.

Excellent location and friendly staff

Posted 6-Jul-2014
Chose the hotel for the location and it didn't disappoint being only a short distance from the 2 tube stations. Access to Hyde park and a short hop to Paddington station too. The pictures are accurate and overall could not fault the hotel for cleanliness and staff assistance. We experienced a leak in the hallway during the night with water dripping from the ceiling. The staff were quick to apologise and helped us move to an upgraded room, after checking on the status of the one above us, of course!

Good location, small room and uncomfortable bed

Posted 5-Jul-2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly on both arrival and departure.
Cons: Replacement of both the pillows and the mattress.
Location: Street away from tubes for the Circle and Central lines. Kensington Gardens is just a few minutes walk.
My husband and I booked this hotel for an overnight stay in London. We were mainly looking for a reasonably priced hotel where we could spend a comfortable night. The location of the hotel is perfect being just a street away from Bays Water and Queensway tube stations. The high street is also a very short walk, with everything you'd need if you didn't want to stray too far from the area. We originally booked a double, but we were upgraded to a Club Room. The room was very smart and clean, but both the main room and the bathroom were very small. The bed was a small double, with very hard pillows and mattress (which we found was badly in need of replacement). The size of the room wasn't an issue, but unfortunately the discomfort of the bed did mean a restless night.

Great location, beautiful lobby,

Posted 1-May-2014
Pros: Staff service was excellent. Very accommodating!
Cons: Larger rooms for premium prices. The room would have been fine if we had paid about half the price. At what we paid, we should have had a better room.
Location: The location is prime! Near parks, museums, shopping and underground. It was one if the best things about the hotel.
Staff was very accommodating. The cost of the room was very high and we were put on the ground floor, looking into an alley. The walls were dirty as well. We asked to move and were put in a room on the 5th floor which had a lovely view of the street. For the premium price of this hotel however, the rooms were dissappointingly small, extremely so, and the carpets and walls were damaged. Would not stay there at that high price again. The staff were very helpful however, very nice service otherwise.

Beautiful areas, but room was too small

Posted 29-Apr-2014
The location is great, close to the tube stations(Bayswater and Queensway) and close to Asian and Italian restaurants. The Building was beautiful, the staff were helpful. But the room was very small, no room to move around. And there is an exit next to my room which is only for staffs use. The staffs smoked outside the exit, which made my room full of smoke when I was back in the evening.

Was moved to an inferior hotel

Posted 11-Apr-2014
Pros: I didn't get to stay at the hotel
Cons: Don't overbook
Location: No idea
Like another reviewer, I was moved to an inferior hotel. It wasn't on the central line, the room was unbearably hot and the air on didn't work. I was 30 minutes late for work - not happy at all.
