Nice hotel, Central location.

Posted 16-Nov-2014
Very well located hotel. Very ornate communal areas. Room was small but comfortable, clean and well equipped with TV and Tea/Coffee facilities and nice modern en-suite bathroom. Didn't try breakfast as it seemed expensive to me, at £15 a head.

Not worth the money

Posted 10-Nov-2014
Pros: The bathroom/shower/tub were excellent. The bed & pillows were comfortable
Cons: Update guest rooms. Educate staff.
When I arrived to my room the first night, there was some type of food? odor that made me ill. The room had worn out/dirty looking carpets, worn out, cheap furniture. Staff was not knowledgeable about tours & pamphlets for sight seeing that they offer for purchase there. I had fraudulent activity on my primary credit card on the third day of my holiday; my bank sent a new card to the hotel-which no one could find while I was there in London, despite my checking with the front desk repeatedly. I could not access my e-mail while in London at all. But when I returned to the US, I was able to track the FedEx package online, which showed that the package was, in fact, delivered to the hotel, as promised by my bank. Workers were banging outside my room at 0700 a.m. Computer w/printer not accessible half the time--due to meetings??

To call this a 4 star hotel is a stretch

Posted 9-Nov-2014
Pros: The staff was very helpful, booking cars, wake up calls, etc
Cons: Rebadge as a 3 star hotel so you don't mislead guests about what standard it is
Location: Okay location, quiet street one block from the Queensway/Bayswater tube stations
The staff is the only thing that are truly four star about this hotel. While doing a box ticking exercise, they might be able to claim 4-star status because there is wi-fi, tea service in room, flat screen TVs, etc…but the room I had, and judging by the door spacing on the hall, the room that everyone else had, is one of the smallest rooms I have ever had…Not even that, but the corridor is so narrow I felt I had to walk sideways to walk along it--I couldn't wheel a suitcase behind me without bumping into the walls…To me a 4 star hotel has to have a certain level of charm to it…and to not feel as though you are in a place that was developed in order to squeeze every last penny out of a real estate investment. This is really a 3 star hotel with flat screen TVs.

Very Good Location, it is closed for underground

Posted 3-Nov-2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The Mattress needs to be replaced
Location: Very Good and I recommended
Very strategic location in a quiet neighborhood, close to underground stations and Bus Stop. The room was very clean. Everything was good but the Mattress had a king of hole in the middle and it was uncomfortable.

Great service!

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Had to change hotel first night due to a maintenance with the warm water. Everything was sorted out perfectly though, free cab to and from the hotel and we got free breakfast and a roomupgrade during the whole stay. Can't say anything negative more than absence of a showercurtain in the bathroom!
