No lift, so be prepared to walk up steps to upper floors. nice staff. Very close to a small shopping center (French Connection, Next, United Colors..., GAP, etc), pubs, and internet cafes. Within 5min walking distance of the Russell Sq tube station and Kings Cross EuroStar station. Also within walking distance of the British Museum.

hotel bien situé, proche de la gare saint pancras et du métro russel square (600m); en arrivant tôt à l'hôtel, on peut laisser les bagages à la réception sans aucun problème : le personnel est serviable. L'hôtel est joli du style victorien et donne devant un petit parc:le quartier semble tranquille (nous étions en semaine). Ah oui, dans la chambre, le plateau boulloire électrique avec thé et café était disponible et c'était appréciable. Bref, nous avions passé un bon séjour dans cet hôtel. A recommander.

“Wonderful location”

This is a great spot, with helpful staff. The in-room information folder is the best we have seen, with all kinds of useful things, like the various ways to get to the airport, about tipping, etc. The bathroom is very small, but compensated for by the very spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast.

L’hôtel Georges est un tout petit hôtel très sympathique situé à seulement 5 minutes à pied d'une ligne de métro centrale partant directement de l'aéroport. Malgré que les chambres soient petites et que les fenêtres soient peu isolées du bruit des rues environnantes, le service y est impeccable, le personnel est très bien renseigné et les environs ont un charme incroyable. Je le recommande à tous les voyageurs qui désirent profiter d'un séjour économique mais bien èa la hauteur de ses 3 étoiles, mais surtout imprégné de l'esprit chargé d'histoire de Londres.

George Hotel est un hôtel globalement bien situé puisqu'il est à proximité de la gare St Pancras et des lignes de métro ou bus. Le service est bon, le confort aussi même si la SDB est toute petite et le petit déjeuner anglais est délicieux.

“Convenient Location”

The hotel was conveniently located between the St-Pancras and Euston Underground/Train Stations - both within walking distance if you aren't carrying a lot of luggage. Breakfast was great! There are pubs and coffee shops within walking distance, too. There aren't any lifts, so be prepared to carry luggage to upper floors. When leaving we asked the desk to call for a Taxi for us and were a little uneasy when an unmarked taxi showed up. He took us to Euston, but dropped us off across and down the street - I'm guessing because he was illegal and couldn't pull up to the station. We got a taxi so we wouldn't have to drag our luggage any further than necessary so this was not a good last impression of the hotel services.

hotel charmant typique anglais. le personnel est très accueillant mais la qualité laisse un peu à désirée. Manque de fraicheur et de standing pour ses trois étoiles.

Great location!!! Very quiet and comfortable room. The only problem was the toilet and shower was in the corridor but this was what we had booked for. Would definitely return to the hotel room but would book a room with its own bathroom in the future.

“You Get What You Pay For”

Conveniently located if you need a stopping point from the train before flying out of town, the George Hotel's location was its best feature. Sharing the bathrooms were fine, but the rooms were so small that it really is just a place to rest your head. The tight stairwells made it extremely difficult for big suitcases. The reception staff continued to stress there no frill approach (no we can't mail your postcards, no there is no ice, no one will be available between 10PM and 7:30AM. However, for the price the room was clean, the bed was adequate, the internet was functional, the breakfast was very good, and the fan offered enough background noise to drown out the Barcelona revellers after the Championship League final. If I was in need of a place close to the train station, and if I didn't have my wife with me, I would consider going back.
