“short stay”
Superb location and an incredibly good deal.
“Interesting Hotel”
The first room I was in was incredibly tiny with no view, no air conditioner and no bath tub. After one night they moved me to another 'single' room but this one was quite a bit larger, still a single bed and no air conditioner but the shower was twice as big as the first one. It faced the street and had a small balcony with french doors that could open for a breeze. So very much better though. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, I would go back any time.
“The location and accommodations were wonderful.”
I found the hotel very staff very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast offered a wide variety of selections and the English breakfast, which was also offered, was a pleasant addition on several occasions when I wanted eggs. My room was comfortable and of a nice size and the bath had both a large tub and shower. After one visit to the breakfast room, the personnel remembered my food preferences and room number. It certainly made me feel welcome.
“Good hotel in great location”
Located in one of the nicest central residential districts. Hotel is small and efficiently run. Rooms are often very small--but that's why you get the location and the general quality at such a reasonable price.
“Sweet Deal”
Very nice small hotel. Attractive public areas. Room was small but, this is London and that's the way it is. Had a great bathroom. Water pressure was very good and constant. Access to internet avail in the room. Computer avail for guest use (extra charge). Staff very nice. Room very clean and attractive. Decent room service 24 hrs.
“Fantastic!”
This hotel was fantastic! I would 100% recommend it to anyone.
“Great Stay in London”
This hotel is just minutes from the subway making all the attractions in London very accessible. There are several very good restaurants with in walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
“Clean, friendly and close to food and subway”
The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful at all times. It is 3 blocks from South Kenningston Underground Station and there were numerous restaurants, brasseries and pastery shops nearby. Plus the post office and another currence exchange (both 2 blocks)exchanges $ at no commission.
“Great location”
Very comfortable & quiet room. Nice location near several attractions. Pleasant service.
“Small but cozy, like a week at grandma's in a fabulous location”
I found it easy to overlook the room size, slightly tattered bed spread and coldish bathroom because I felt so at home in this hotel. I selected the hotel because it was close to my daughter's dorm/flat but the neighborhood was fantastic. Museums, the tube, and great restaurants, even Harrod's was within easy walking distance. I really enjoyed walking throughout the neighborhood, Hyde Park was a dream during the Fall. I felt safe in the area, and loved being able to grab a quick pastry or gelato on either morning or evening walks. The Natural History museum is great, but popular and crowded....Don't skip the V&A...it's fantastic, and both had gift shops with clever and unique gifts...true of all of London's museums. You can't miss if you cozy up in your room here with the right attitude.
