“Great place to stay.”
Wanted a place that was convenient to the museums and had the basic comforts. The room had a small kitchen which is important in London if you want to save money on what could be very expensive dining out. Nearby tube stations were a plus.
“Indiana travelers.”
The apartment was exactly as promoted on their web site. It was wonderful, one of the best places we have stayed over seas. The room was clean, spacious, had all the amenities that was needed for preparing meals and I loved that there were hardwood floors in the main living areas versus carpet. The room was decorated nicely, the building was beautiful and the area was safe and convenient to the underground tube. Would highly recommend the Fraser Place Queens Gate.
“Excellent”
Excellent hotel in convenient location. Small, but well equipped kitchen, served all our needs. Only drawback, no guest computer on premises.
“Great Base in London”
This was exactly what I expected - nothing more, nothing less. I was worried after reading some reviews on tripadvisors.com, but my concerns were unwarranted. This is a basic, comfortable hotel that has the added convenience of a kitchenette in every room. I would stay here again. The price was affordable. The room was clean. The staff was pleasant. Caveat: Do not plan on doing laundry at the hotel as the machines are always in use by other guests.
“Super location, steps away from Tube station and nice grocery markets, also local fast food.”
Comfortable and clean. Helpful staff. Excellent location for Tube - Picadilly line and District line. Very safe area. Beds were a bit disappointing. Overall very good value. We would stay here again.
“A good solid hotel without a lot of frills”
The rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. The set up of the apartment was a little strange as it had no sense of flow between the rooms with doors everywhere and no open space. The standard room was much better but can really only accommodate 2 people. Although the hotel had wireless internet access, you had to pay for a set number of hours and we found the connection kind of inconsistent. Ultimately, when we brought this up with hotel, they took the charge off of our bill. We had a kitchen in our apartment which was well supplied. We used it only for the occasional breakfast, but you could easily have used it to cook meals. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't speak to the food quality there. Overall, the staff was nice and reasonably helpful. The location of the hotel was good for some of the upscale shopping in London as well as for a couple of museums. It's in a slightly more residential area, so it was quiet and felt very safe. There were lots of great places to eat in the area.
“Fraser Place Queens Gate, London”
“Location, solid room!”
Fantastic location. Great desk staff. Honestly, there was little to argue about. I would happily stay there again. My wife and son (6) loved our room. And the proximity to the 'tube is great. TWO GROCERY stores in the 2 block walk- how do you beat it? That said, the Frasier could take it to the next level by a close attention to detail. I'm a type AA+ person, so check the ceiling paint crown molding for coverage, the faucet dripped in the kitchenette. Please, dont get me wrong, it was a great experience. I'd book again!
“Would definately go back!”
We stayed in London as we were seeing a West End show and Fraser Place was conveniently located to access Picadilly. Great location and very spacious room. Can't really find any faults! Would definately recommend to stay here!
“very convenient”
very good location, abit noisy room, strange smell
