“hotel crystal palace LONDRES”

Tout était parfait dans cet hotel, seul gros point négatif: le petit déjeuner. S nous voulions le petit déjeuner continetal il fallait payer un supplément par repas et par personne. Les jus proposés avaient un gout infect. et mis a part les céréales, le pain de mie et salade de fruit le petit déjeuner laisse vraiment à désirer. Un seul et unique ascenseur non disponible le matin pour monterau resturant situé au 5ème étage.

It was clean and nice, Bed is comfortably. Need four pillows as only ( two) there. Over all good, money well spend .

Used this hotel for a base and to attend a Christmas night out. Was ideally placed and was comfortable to return to after the event.

“Queens Hotel Crystal Palace un peu loin du centre”

L'hotel manque d'entretien, mais la chambre est correcte, le mauvais point est que l'hotel possède une salle de banquet, très bruyant le weekend. pour se rendre sans le centre prendre le train à la gare de Crystal Palace et descendre à LONDON BRIDGE c'est plus rapide que le bus.

“Below Average Hotel”

The hotel was not able or prepared to take any early arrivals (I arrived at 1 p.m. and was told I could not check in until 3 p.m. so I had to use the hotel lobby bathroom to change clothes, wash up, etc. so as to make an appointment in Central London). There was also no elevator service so I had carry two heavy bags of luggage up two flights of very narrow stairs. There's no A/C and while it was cool & breezy, it would have been nice if there were screens on the windown and if I hadn't been given a room that looked over the back of the hotel where there was nothing but an overload of trash, full dumpsters, construction material, etc. I found the staff to be moderately helpful while there were a few who were not helpful at all. It was a hit or miss type of situation.

“Crappy room, but clean shower & bed”

Overall, the hotel and it's guests are a bit dodgy. I was placed in a tiny, tiny room in the basement. The window was broken and let in cold air (no view, either), the carpet was old and dirty, and a tiny TV with an antenna barely played two channels (no remote control either). There was no phone either!!! The bathroom had no heater, so it was freezing. The breakfast was crap, and not worth having. The only good thing is that the bed was clean, as was the bathroom, with a nice big, clean shower. And of course, it's very cheap (I guess you get what you pay for). I'd recommend trying Jury's Inn Croydon instead (more expensive, though).

“Better pay £5 more and be closer to centre”

Din't mind the size of the room for couple of hours sleep, However, after a night out in the city it would be good to have a decent shower which had a terribly low pressure. Also, on sunday morning a guy hoovered corridor just gone 9.30am. breakfast was just a toast and jam or ceral nothing else. It's just better to go to Finsbury Parkl which also offers budget hotels and is at least 30 min closer to city.
