“Poopy to the max... but you get what you paid for.”
First of all... don't try to get there before 3 o'clock because you can't check in. I really do wish we would have known that before we showed up, completely knackered. Anyhoo, it's a cheap motel at best, almost a hostel. The room was crazily small, as in, our door almost hit the bed on our way in. No dresser, but we did have a desk. The bathroom was so gross (smell, look, cleanliness, etc), that we wore sandals the whole time in our room, and in the shower. Our phone didn't work, so we were transferred to a room down the hall which was a little better; phone worked and the bathroom didn't stink. Anyhoo, the breakfast was AWFUL... literally a bowl of either cornflakes or rice crispies, warm milk, and toast. We just went to Tesco down the road for our breakfasts. Staff were ok. Nothing special, nothing terrible. They won't bend over backwards for you, but they don't spit in your face, so that's a plus. The area was good. South Clapham has some good stuff and, as I stated, it was very close to tesco. Also, there is a really good indian restaurant close by. Overall, the place sucks, but you've gotta expect that for how cheap it is to stay here in zone 2 off the tube (which is very close, a big plus). We definitely wouldn't stay here again, but would recommend it to someone who is on a tight budget.
“Lower Your Expectations Now!”
Rooms are incredibly small. Room service is not good (they did not replace the towels). Breakfast is a joke (cereal only). On the plus side, they have free wi-fi, private car park and the hotel is close to the clapham south station and a tesco supermarket.
“Quite poor”
My room was in a separate building to main hotel, in a poorly presented looking block of flats. They had converted one of the ground floor flats into 4 individual hotel rooms. Walls were very thin and could clearly hear the people in other rooms, the lock on door didn't work, television would only receive a handful of signals which didn't even include itv or channel 4. Breakfast consisted of either toast or cornflakes or rice krispies.

“pretty bad but also pretty cheap”
I read reviews in advance, so I knew what I was getting into. I stayed here a full week, I recently moved to London and needed a place to stay until my flat was ready for me to move into it. I got an extremely small, cramped room with a single bed in it. Very cheap and shabby furnishings but I have to admit they were clean enough. The shower was AWFUL, due to water pressure issues there was no hot water at all in the mornings, not even once for the entire week, so be ready for that bit of joy. There's no elevator either, so if you've got luggage you may very well have to drag it up several flights of stairs. The staff there are not meant to be disturbed with your tedious requests or needs, I think they were unhappy enough just to be working there. Room service was interesting though -- you're not given the choice of a "do not disturb" sign or anything, they will come in every day no matter what to give your room a once-over, but the funny part is that they hardly do anything! During my 7-day stay there, they made my bed every day, but they never changed the sheets at all, and only changed my towels one time during the entire stay! At least I had soap for my ice-cold shower. On a good note, this might possibly be the cheapest place to get a hotel room in all of London. Do NOT look at this place as a proper hotel, instead try and view it as the cheapest place possible to get a room with a bed in it and a door that locks.
