“I am more than glad with the experience of staying at the Draycott”
The hotel is full of ammenities and the personal has a very professional and friendly attitude
“A unique hotel in a perfect setting”
The Draycott is situated on a quiet residential street in Chelsea, and is most conveniet to the Sloane Square Underground Station and to bus routes that run along King's Road or Sloane Street. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating, and you're made to feel quite at home, with complimentary champagne, tea and hot chocolate offered at different times during the day. Each room is named after a famous personality, and the room beautifully decorated with that person in mind. The modern, yet luxurious bathrooms come equipped with terry robes and slippers and are stocked with Penhaligons's toiletries. I definately plan to return to the Draycott on my next visit to London.
“London's best small hotel”
Great location, excellent service, beautiful surroundings. The food was not at the level I would have expected, but this is such a wonderful hotel in almost every way.
“Wonderful 'out of the way' Hotel”
Couldn't want a better unassuming luxury Hotel in the middle of the Sloane Street action.
“can't beat the location”
The Draycott is listed as a 4-5 star hotel, however I would rate it more a 3.75 star hotel. The room we had was very large for european standards and included a separate sitting area. The gas light fireplaces are especially delightful. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only criticisms are that the furniture is kind of old and lumpy; the bathroom plumbing could have been better (ie. the toilet didn't always have enough pressure to flush); and there were signs of wear & tear. The hotel staff was pleasant enough as far as Londoners go. The location was awesome though. The Sloane Sq. tube station is in easy walking distance and Sloane St. and Kings Road are very close and have lots of great shops and restaurants. The Draycott is also located on a side road so it was very quiet and you didn't notice the hum of nearby traffic.
“Old fashioned charm”
Expensive hotel that was old fashioned but made a big effort to make you welcome and to pander to your wishes. Very well situated for Sloane Square, whilst quietly set. Well worth a visit.
