Upon arrival the room smelled like smoke and it had stains everywhere! My kids wanted to leave!

Good Location

Posted 31-Dec-2014
Pros: Location and price
Location: On one of the main arteries in London. About 15 minutes by car to the Budweiser center. Great shopping across the road.
I was only visiting for the Xmas holidays, so overall the facility was OK. I spent 2 nights. The hotel is looking tired and needs refurbishing. But the microwave and fridge were great assets. The onsite restaurant was just renovated and is good. Also I say the coffee is awesome. If you are not doing anything where you would be in the room all day this hotel would work. Great location to other restaurants and White Oaks mall.

Terrible hotel, loud and noisy till late night. In addition, the window of the room could not close properly. Not recommend.

Heating system not properly working.

Posted 12-Dec-2014
Cons: Maintenance should do an inspection of all rooms quite regularly to make sure heat and air conditioning are properly working.
Heat was barely working in my room. I talked to front desk clerk and there was nothing he could do because maintenance had gone home for the night. They gave me another blanket but not adequate. Maintenance should do an inspection of all rooms to make sure heat and air conditioning are properly working.

Right across from White Oaks Mall -great location!

Posted 17-Nov-2014
Pros: Great location and clean.
Cons: Next time will ask for room facing back of hotel which would be much quieter - lots of traffic noise from busy Wellington Street and mall exits.
Location: Lots to do nearby.
Nice hotel and clean, but the only complaint is our hallway really smelled strong of smoke. We had a non-smoking room, but right across the hall from our room was smoking rooms, which is really stupid planning and makes no sense.

Decent for the price

Posted 22-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
We needed a place to stay 1 night for a hockey tournament and didn't want to spend a lot of money since we would only be there to sleep. This hotel is definitely outdated but the room was clean and it was a convenient location, near the 401 and lots of shopping and restaurants. Totally worth it for the price, I got it through hotels.com for $68.

Fall Break

Posted 21-Oct-2014 on Hotels.com
I think it is time that money was spent on refurbishing the hotel rooms. They are quite adequate and comfortable, but could certainly do with being refreshed. And there is a shortage of accessible electrical outlets that made using/recharging electronic devices a challenge. But the staff is lovely and helpful, the location is convenient, and I appreciate having a restaurant on site.
