“Definitely recommended”
The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was very helpful, there is a bar and several dining and shopping options nearby, easy transportation as there is a bus stop in front of the hotel 5 minutes away from the tube. Plus there are facilities like pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym etc which can be used by those staying in the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel, I'll definitely be staying there again.
“Nice Hotel in a Different Part Of London”
Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful with all requests. The breakfast which was included in our package was good and you could order eggs cooked to order. There is a nice bar / pub across the lobby. There is a grocery store next door and a nice bakery across the street. Also just around the coner are a lot of "shishkabob" take outs with great lamb and chicken at a decent price. The walk to the tube or subway is about 10-15 minutes and it may look a little run down along the way but we felt quite safe and had no problems. We always got back to the hotel in the early evening in case things got worse late night. If you have trouble walking I would not suggest trying to drag you bags over to the station, however we saw a good number who did so. The tube ride to Big Ben was about 25 minutes in rush hour and it is the best way to get around London. You will want to get a daily or weelky pass from the correct zones to the areas you want to visit. Just ask the hotle for assistance. We also took the tube to Victorai Station where we then took a train south to Brighton on the coast. Only a hour ride. This is s great day trip.
“genial en tout point de vue”
des l accueil nous avons ete tres content du service qu offre l hotel nous avons passe un week end confortable et innoubliable
“Off the beaten path but worth it”
The hotel is north of London and outside of the "circle" but well maintained, clean, and quiet with good-sized rooms, contemporary decor, and good restaurants. It is in a middle class ethnic neighborhood with lots of Indian, Afghan, and Asian restaurants and stores, and the streets are a bit dirty but we felt safe (although single women would be more cautious). Four bus lines stop directly in front of the hotel and in five minutes take you to the Kilburn station of the Jubilee line of the Tube, and from there you are directly connected to Baker Street, Bond Street, and Westminster (20 minutes).
“Great hotel!”
We stayed at the Crown Moran for 2 nights, and it was awesome especially for the rate we got! The hotel restaurant is excellent, and right in front of the hotel there is a great bakery, what else could you ask for? The train station (National Rail) is like 7 minutes walk, not bad at all. Via train, it's like 20 minutes from a vibrant shopping area(Oxford Circus for example) and like 35 mins from a great area with restaurants and entertainment (Covent Gardens). There is a grocery store next to the hotel in case you want to buy cheap water or snacks. For the price you get a premium hotel with easy access everywhere. We recommend this hotel to anyone!
“Very Impressed”
The hotel was in perfect condition and the staff went out of their way to be very helpful. We were completely happy with our stay.
“superbe hôtel”
tres satisfaite de l'hotel un peu difficile a trouver
“Wonderful Off the Beaten Path Hotel”
We arrived at the hotel at 8AM and they let us check in to our room right away. The staff was pleasant and always helpful. We had a triple which was quite roomy. The undergound was only 10 minutes away. There was a nice breakfast every morning. Can't find anything to complain about.
“Great base for exploring London”
Great hotel and is close to the centre of London via the tube. Rooms very comfortable. Breakfast delicious -- especially the fruit salad. Staff very helpful. Free wi fi in the foyer, which is a lovely place to sit. Didn't eat in the pub because we didn't have time. Pool is nice and weight room area is very large. Also has an underground parkade if you are driving, which we were so that was a nice feature.
“Loved the Crown!!!”
Though a little out of the way if you are spending a lot of time in central London, the Crown is a great Hotel and Pub. The rooms very very clean and comfortable and the staff was great with any of the requests that we had. The food in the pub and restaurant was especially excellent and we almost didnt feel we needed to leave the hotel to eat or grab a drink. Also the complimentary Irish breakfast was great for saving money and charging up before a day of site-seeing. I would definitely recommend the hotel if you want a trip to London and want to cut out the crowds and noise of staying in central London.
