“Enjoyed our stay in this hotel due to the aminities in the neighborhood.”

Excellent location in Central London all aminities nearby and just walking distance to the London Eye,St Paul Cathedral,Coventry Garden, Financial District, Thames River, easy access to the underground station.

“Clean, great service, fantastic location!”

The hotel is in a fantastic location - very close to St. Paul's Cathedral and within walking distance of many other attractions. The customer service was excellent, the room was very clean, and the price was reasonable for a 4-star.

“Satisfied”

We arrived at Heathrow airport and took the train to our hotel. It cost about 5pounds/per person. Travel time was about an hour. But the walk to the hotel was less than 5 minutes. We actually took the long route but later found out we could go from behind the St Paul cathedral. It was really convenient. The Big Bus tour stop was right in front of our hotel so it was really convenient to use that bus to go all around London. There was quite a few choices of restaurants. Lots to choose from around the hotel, just steps away. The bathroom was a bit small but it was manageable/comfortable. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone going to London for the first time. If I ever go back, I'd stay in this hotel again. No question.

“Great location”

Great hotel if you are visiting London for few days. Located right by St. Paul's cathedral and very close to the tube. I think that 4 star rating is a bit misleading. I would say 3 star at best.

“Wish I could stay at Club Quarters whenever I travel”

This hotel is in the banking district so it is a little out of the way, but given the amount of traffic and tourists that were in London this weekend being out of the way meant quiet and peaceful. The staff were very professional and helpful and out rooms were small but very clean and comfortable.

Dining

There is a Leon restaurant down the road. We don't have this chain in the States, and my teenagers loved it. Healthy, small plate meals in a low key, cool environment.

“Highly recommend for stay in London.”

I had read previous reviews for this hotel and decided to take a chance based on the positive feedbacks. I have to say that I was quite impressed so was my husband. Our room had a queen bed with a cot put in for my son - who thought it was great he had his own twin bed. The room had a kitchenette and a fridge so you could buy food at the local M&S just a few steps away. The room is small by North American standards however, for Europe it was quite good. Modern, clean and well designed. I appreciated the fact that we had wireless included in the price and a TV that had more than 5 channels to watch although we did not stay in the room much. I would definitely recommend Club Quarter's St. Paul - you must do St. Paul's cathedral if you are there as well! We are planning a return trip and we will be staying here.

Area recommendations

I would recommend Covent gardens which is a 20-25 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of shops and a great food market during the day however, you have to find a place to sit as the restaurants and pubs provide covered patios for their patrons. The food in the market is quite tasty and for the money you get alot - yes even in British pounds it is worth it! If you are really up to it you can the other way along Regent street to Oxford Circus - this is a fairly long walk so put your walking shoes on. It has great character, many stores - familiar and unfamiliar but plenty of cafes to stop at, catch your breath, eat. You can't miss with the food. If had more room I would recommend a few places for to try. With London the key is to a great experience is to live like the locals to some degree - jump on the underground and check out various areas. So much history to experience and shopping and eating beyond belief!

“Excellent Hotel!!”

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The bed was very comfortable; the room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is located in a nice area and close to pretty much anything you would need; including a Tube station. The first night I heard some minor noise (traffic, etc.) from outside which woke me, so the 2nd and 3rd nights I turned on the fan from the heating/cooling system to drown out any noise and I slept right through until morning. This hotel was great value for the money and I would highly recommend it.

“Wonderful area. Would go there anytime”

The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean as was the rest of the Hotel. It's location to sights and public transportation, and the helpful attitude of the staff got me around to many different places in London with little effort. The area was also very nice for strolls and some shopping.

Getting around

The tube (Underground) and buses area very convient and a for 6.60 pounds you can have an allday pass that includes the underground and buses for zones 1 & 2 the (main area of the city). Quick they run often.
