“emplacement idéal”
hôtel très bien situé l'emplacement est vraiment idéal, personnel aimable et parlant français. Notre studio était très agréable, propre, bien équipé, calme bien que donnant sur la rue. La literie n'est pas idéale (canapé lit) mais loin d'être un point négatif. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel, nous y reviendront avec grand plaisir.
“Would definitely return.”
We stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago and had no hesitation in returning on this trip to London. The location could not be better, less than one minute to Trafalgar Square and two tube stops, although it is so central you rarely need to use the tube. The apartment was spotless, spacious and comfortable, although the pillows were very thin. There is no shortage of places to eat nearby, but the option of 'eating' in can be very convenient, especially with Tesco, Sainsburys and M&S having food outlets very close to the hotel. Really enjoyed our trip to London and would definitely use this hotel again.

“Great location”
A great location, great idea to have your own space in London, friendly staff
“Solo traveler for Autumn week vacation”
The hotel was just as advertised and reviewed. I had the studio with kitchenette. Location was fantastic. Tree lined street with Trafalgar, Embankment, Thames, Jubilee Bridge, National Gallery, Big Ben, metro and buses at your fingertips. Room was clean and just right. Despite my concerns the foldout bed was very comfortable. The sheets and blanket just fold away with the bed in the morning. Nice clean sheets and towels. The studio was crowded with the bed unfolded (but I was asleep!) and had decent room with the bed put away. Bathroom was clean, roomy enough and up to date, and both room and bathroom had extra heaters if needed. Although I didn't cook, the kitchenette was convenient for breakfast, snacks and takeout meals when I was weary, with plates, silverware, wineglasses (!) and a mini-fridge. Modern well lit lobby, professional desk service, with a PC and an excellent coffee machine (as well as instant in the room). As others have noted, the Tesco store at the end of the block is excellent to stock your room pantry. Highly recommended and I would happily stay here again. I recommend the weekly travel pass (zone 1/2) if you are here for a week, good for metro and buses (but not Heathrow). When tired, I would hop on any double decker bus going cross town for a relaxing show. Kensington, Hyde and Green Parks were all beautiful to walk thru in the fall. I thought the V&A Museum would be old and dusty but it was great. The major museums are FREE. Walk the Thames.
“I'm gonna stay here every time”
Can barely fault the place. I would happily make it my home for a month! You will definitely not find a place as clean and well located for this price even half as much again. There is nothing scary about this place. My husband and I were so impressed. We will definitely go back next time. Really surprised to find an affordable do-able place in the west end. The staff were very friendly and sweet. The reason I say 4 stars for them is sometimes the lack of english was just about ok! Saying that they seem to have lots of foreign guests so I'm sure it works out.
“Excellent,would go back again”
Third visit to Citadines Trafalgar, had studio apartment this time, as I was on my own, and found it very comfortable.I also felt very safe.Staff were helpful and pleasant.I would recomend this hotel.
“great place to stay with kids!”
I had read other reviews...I stayed here because i have two young sons, 3 and 5 yrs old. I needed a kitchen...it was perfect. I was able to store breakfast food so that every morning, we could eat at 'home' then go explore on foot our neighborhood. the hotel is really central to TONS of sightseeing activities. we could go a block and catch a train, bus, or walk to anything. Ben Franklins house is right behind the hotel! And Sherlock Holmes Pub, about 40 steps out the front door. Great food & drink there (it is where Ben Franklin use to drink)Getting around London is SO easy. We took a train to Windsor and spent the day there, the boys LOVED the adventure and the castle-mostly the changing of the guards! Great band and procession in Windsor as they march into their shift. Do not get overwhelmed with kids...London is kid friendly most places. Also, 2 grocery stores are at the end of each block, you can get snacks, tv dinners, tea, misc supplies. I have recommended this hotel to friends, it is clean and you can do laundry there as well. Sometimes the people at the front desk are a little slow to understand what you need, but they are nice. Language barrier usually can be overcome. maids come once a week.
“Location, Location -”
By Australian standards quite expensive for what you get, but the location compensates for that. From here you can walk just about anywhere within the inner city. Underground station is a few hundred metres away. Our studio room had a very comfortable fold out bed, every bit as good as a lot of hotel fixed beds around the world. Kitchen was small but adequate. Not new or modern but ok. Clean but not spotless, again just like an awful lot of other hotels especially in Europe.
“Will definately return”
Hotel within walking distance of many attractions to visit during the day and theatres to choose from in the evenings.
