“Citadines barbican Londres, confortable et pratique!!!”
Hôtel propre et confortable. Le personnel est super! C'est mon 3ème sEjour là bas, supérette Tesco à coté de l'hôtel, et seulement à 2 stations de métro de la gare king's cross St. Pancras! Je le recommande! Bémol : pas grand chose à faire ou à voir dans le quartier, mais le but c'est de bouger ;)
“Ideally situated for the Barbican area”
Very pleasantly surprised how close the hotel was to the Barbican tube. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, airy and pleasant. Would certainly stay there again on the next trip to London.

“Great hotel”
I was very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly liked the kitchenette- everything was immaculate and there was even a dishwasher. The fold down sofaf bed was large and comfortable. I would certainly stay again if I were to return.

As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many hotels and this rank pretty high especially for London.
“Comfortable, clean & v. close to Barbican tube station”
Stayed for one night as it was close to The Brewery where I was attending an award dinner - the walk was less than 10min along the main road and then a well lit tunnel. Room was clean & spacious with kitchen facilities incl microwave, fridge and complimentary tea & coffee. Staff very helpful and polite. Disappointment was the free internet in the room did not have a strong signal. Very close to Barbican tube station - turn left from exit, takes less than 5min to walk, passing Tesco Express on the way which is ideal if you are staying for additional nights. For the price paid for a studio room with pull out bed it was good value, and would stay there again.

The design and furnishings are very modern and comfortable.Our apartment was spacious and well equipped. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every need and request!We would clearly return for another wonderful stay!Very close to underground. 10 minutes to central London! Many quaint restaurants, grocery stores,London Museum.
“Excellent, steps away from fun and much more!”
The location was excellent extremely near of the Barbican tube station, was very usefull for New Year´s eve, the neighbourhood was safe to walk and just steps away from restaurants, deli´s and other pub´s and bars. Our stay was just excellent, would not ask for anything else, except for more tea bags ;-) I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you Citadines you made my first time in London unforgetable.
“Good location”
There are other locations from this hotel chain. If I have to pick again, I'd still pick this one. It's central and quiet and safe. It's also convenient and a few minutes to the tube / subway / metro. Hotel service is good. Staff is friendly. A convenient shop is just 2 mins away and you can get some meat / veggie / fruit / sandwich, etc. The shop closes at 11pm / midnight. Some pubs are around the neighbourhood. An Italian Restaurant around the corner is quite affordable and very friendly staff. Note: Most restaurants / pubs close early or not open on Sunday. The only thing about the hotel is the vent is not working - the entire building. If you plan to cook or take long hot shower, beware. I was able to manage some light cooking by opening the window. The tube station at Barbican is closed for maintenance on some weekends (2 of 3 weekends) during our stay. You'll need to walk 15-12 minutes to the next closest station - Liverpool / Old Street station. Those are nice walk, if you have the energy and time. I did it in a cold 2 weekends of November and was okay as long as I was not carrying luggage.
“A convenient hotel for businessmen and tourists.”
Citadines Apart'hotel Barbican is in a great place just 10 minutes walk from St Paul's Cathedral and 2 minutes walk to the closest underground station, Barbican, which is on the Circle, and Hammersmith and City lines. The hotel is not one of those where people would go for their vacations in the sense that there are no swimming pools, spa centres, etc. Just the opposite - it is a perfect place for people who are in London for business or as tourists. Rooms are quite convenient, with TV and free broadband, and also in the rooms that we had there were fridges, cookers, microwaves. It is thus perfect if you intend to spend most of your time in London outside of hotel which is most certainly the case. The experience is similar to what I would expect if I hired an apartment in the centre of London.
