“Location is convenient, but too noisy”

The price for the hotel is appropriate for what you get. The staff was accommodating to specific requests that I had. Pros: * kitchenette with microwave & fridge * location is close to shopping, grocery marts, cash machine, etc. * close to subway/underground transportation Cons: * no telephone (but they do have free wireless internet) * no doorknob on my door, which means I could lock it from the inside, but it was difficult to close the door from the outside * door lock is very simple -- I expect I could break in with a screwdriver if I wanted to * single-pane windows -- you hear all of the outside noise * hotel is located in a very noisy area, people were up partying outside until about 4am, lots of sirens going by (I could not sleep through this) * beds are not very comfortable * no shampoo/body-soap be sure to bring this yourself * television reception was very poor

“Worst place I have stayed for a long time”

On paper, it sounded good but it is a dreadful place. The room had an uncomfortable double bed, a small kitchen area with a sink and a fridge. No cooker or microwave. No table, no chair, no armchair. The only place to sit was the bed. It had a small bathroom that had not been cleaned properly. There were long hairs stuck to the shower walls. It was so seedy I contemplated leaving only that I had already paid in advance. if you are on a really tight budget, stay, otherwise I could not hand in heart recommend this place.

“hostel”

No heating at night ( winter ), hairclip found in the bed, chocolate wrappers under the bed, towels were very old, one roll of toilett paper for 3 nights ( 2 people ) the decor was worn out, the apartment was all in one small room.

“camden hell hole”

This hotel is dirty cold and run down there is no one on site to assist you once you checked in on check out we were just told to leave keys in room. This place was more like a grotty bedsit than an Studio apartment as its listed

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else! Anywhere else really.....you deserve MUCH better than this!

“Cheap yes, Quality NO!”

We stayed at the Camden Apartments as every where in Camden was either booked up or very expensive. The room was cheap, but as the saying goes...you get what you pay for! The TV aerial was broken , the shower tray overflowed, the sink leaked into the cupboard below where there was an electrical socket. The very small high window, with a view of a pigeon infested roof, was screwed shut and the room was very stuffy and hot. The toilet moved around in use and the wash basin was so small and without plug so was pretty much useless. I did ask to be moved but there were no other rooms available and as it became clear the other rooms were no better! They did give us some discount and a maintenance man (apparently) popped in to look at our concerns whilst we were out..this was not evident.... although our TV had changed from 2 working sky channels (when the wire was wiggled) to No recognised channels and we were told that the aerial was broken and a TV man was coming out on the Monday (the day we left) to fix it! The girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful, but the slight smile on her face suggested to me that she was not taking it too seriously, as my complaint was a regular event and there was nothing much that she could do. On the day we left, someone else was complaining and the manager was telling them that he didn't actually work there, so he couldn't help!! We were given a warm sending off and the offer of a better room and good price next time we went there!!

“Unbelievable”

Booked 2 twin rooms. Got one room with 2 beds (one broken) and a room with 4 beds in. one of these was broken and one was just 2 mattresses on top of each other. this room also had a shower in the kitchen area! with a wooden crate thing to dry on. the 3 beds in this room were in a line right next to each other. all we could do was laugh when we got in. most tv channels didn't work, no sign of wifi mentioned and certainly not representative of the pictures! one of the cups had lipstick on - not sure how long that had been on. so many things to list that were wrong with this place. almost laughable really. avoid.
