“I read basic here, basic is what you get.”

So you see that title and may think, oh no not good! Well your're staying in the heart of London, in Camden when the others want more money out of you when this hotel can do it cheaper! On first entering the hotel the staff were courtious and freindly, when we asked for plates etc, it didn't seem hard work and even asked "would you like anything else?". Every little helps. The room is basic, but clean. They don't have digital T.V.'s yet either so they really need to look in to that before the switchover next year. The shower head was preety disgusting and the heating condemned and with a lack of plugs in the room it meant keep unplugging the portable heater they provide to use the kettle as the other plugs are behind the bed! The main heater system looks like it's packed up. Good nights kip though with Camden high street 5 minutes walk away and some entertainment from the pub opposite (what do you expect on a Friday night?) and all next to Chalk Farm Tube, so for it's price it does the job and so for something simple and economic, this is the place to go, I will stay here again!

“Excellent!”

Fantastic location. Fantastic room. General upkeep of the hotel could use a little work, communal areas are a bit shabby, but the room and bathroom was perfect. Staff were brilliant. I'd stay here again.
