“True London”
Why stay at a Sheraton or Hilton when you can stay at a true Edwardian hotel in Chelsea? Conveniently located just a short walk from two tube lines in a quiet Sloane neighborhood, The Cadogan offers genial English service and comfort.

“Elegant, warm place in London”
The Cadogan was the perfect place to stay in London- perfect location and perfect staff. I went to London the last week in Aoril, 2009, shortly after being laid off from my job. I needed to recharge and the Cadogan did that for me. I had been to London several times and I just visited the showstoppers and then spent time walking in the area where the hotel is located - between the Knightsbridge and Sloan Square stations. The staff knew my name from the first, looked after me and treated me as though I was a member of the family. One early evening the doorman even walked me part way to my diiner place.
“Great Old School British Hotel”
The Cadogan is a very nice, small hotel located in a very quiet, mainly residential area of Chelsea. It is just a few blocks to two different Underground stations (Sloane Square and Knightsbridge) and walking distance to many very nice restaurants. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are very knowledgable about local sites, restaurants and shopping. The hotel restaurant is good for dinner with a special fixed price menu including decent wine. We would certainly stay here on a future trip to London.
“Would definately stay there again!”
We loved this hotel. My mother and I stayed while attending the Chelsea Flower Show. The hotel was very conveniently located to the venue. Each and every staff member at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere so charming. The Oscar Wilde connection was a pleasant surprise. The only struggle we had a few times was in finding inexpensive places to eat. Grabbing quick take-out coffees in the morning was not easy. We finally learned: EAT shops are a great place to find inexpensive and delicious, fresh sandwhiches and coffee. There are a couple within walking distance of the Cadogan, one right across from Harrod's. Also, we loved the Gloucester Pub, which is a couple of blocks away on Sloane Street - ask the front desk - we had a really affordable and delicious pub meal on our last night in London, wishing we had found it earlier. Also, a word of caution about using credit cards in restaurants. Unfortunately we were victims of credit card skimming (our card number was stolen and used for a 9000.00 spending spree). The credit card fraud investigation traced the theft to a restaurant on nearby Beauchamp Place - an upscale strip of shops and restaurants which was highly recommended so we were very disappointed and shocked that this happened - travel tip: never let your credit card out of your sight, even to pay your meal bill. Overall, the Cadogan was a great pick. The theft was an unrealted stroke of bad luck that could happen in any city.
“Excellent Location”
Location is excellent. Hotel has classic English Decor. Extremely satisfied with the hotel. The only thing I would change is the colorings of the halls, I felt they were a bit dull. Apart from that, all was superb.
“A home away from home”
The Cadogan Hotel was the finest hotel experience of my 30+ years of visiting london. the staff were the most friendly, the food was the best and the environment was superb. Congratulations to everyione for a fine place to stay.
“Le meilleur hôtel du monde!!”
Nous avons passés un super séjour dan cette hôtel. La qualité du service, un personnel très agréable, toujours à votre écoute . Et surtout une chambre"suite" de reine. Merci encore au Cadogan
“Comfort and tradition”
A lovely hotel -- old in years, but generally updated to current standards. Staff was fiendly and efficient. Our large one bedroom suite was more than adequate -- with two flat screen TVs and two mini-bars. Room service was prompt and efficient. The hotel has wi-fi -- but more important for those like us who don't carry their own equipment ,it also has an "old fashioned" comptuer room with a printer and supplies. It's location is well away from the hustle and bustle of many locations -- but it has excellent bus service and the tube is only about a 10-minute walk away. Maid service was fine -- though we had to make do with a single cake of soap during our five-day stay -- a curiosity not atypical of this hotel. There was one elevator -- an old fashioned cage that worked at glacial speed, which would be an issue for people with serious modility issues. Our suite was on the first flloor -- so that did not pose a great problem for us. The situation would be different for rooms higher up. One unexpected bonus was the lovely private park across the street -- which hotel guests aree welcome to use.
“cadogan knightsbridge”
Very nice older hotel in chic shopping neighborhood. Close to the tube, great service. Loved hotel overall. Be aware rooms have smaller a/c units and unit sometimes does not cool as much as desired. Not a factor in spring or fall but summer could get very hot. But excellent service and great location. Will be back...
