“Lamplighter Inn maid service”

This hotel is clean and the pool and hot tub is very nice. On my last stay however, I forgot to put out the "Do not disturb" sign on the door and the maid knocked before 8 am. I guess if you want to sleep in the sign is important.

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past three years. We have tried other places but since finding this hotel we no longer bother looking at any other place...we book here, regardless of price. Well worth the extra money, though it is comparable in price if not better value than other hotels. The rooms are clean, everything is what you'd expect in a hotel room. What brings me back year after year are the details. There is central air/heating with a thermostat... no big unit hanging on the wall that is noisy. Pillow top mattresses, flat screen tv, nice built in unit with drawers and a fridge. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. One thing that we have found that you'll be interested in: The doors and the room itself seem more soundproof than any hotel we've ever stayed. Yes, you still have people slamming doors and noisy kids but it doesn't seem as bad here as other hotels we've stayed. Recently, the hotel was fully booked and even with all of the kids and people in the hotel we found that we enjoyed our stay and had a good sleep even earlier in the morning when you'll usually experience the slamming doors and loud people. A recent stay in another hotel chain in Windsor wasn't as pleasant even when the place was fairly empty...the maid had to open and slam every door in the morning. So, treat yourself. This hotel will be comfortable, clean and worth every penny.

Our stay was for 2 nights. The pool was great! I learned how to float! My family had a relaxing time. The room was spacious and thank you for parantal controls on the tv. We were glad to enjoy some Discover Channel. It was nice to have a good family friendly selection.

I love the pillow top mattress! I love air conditioning in the Best Western Lamplighter Inn, they actually have a proper thermostat & vents around the whole hotel room. This place doest have that crappy window box. I love the Pool Area! It has a hot tub, palm trees, large pool and koi pond!

Staff and hotel were extremenly clean and helpful. The weather was a nasty day outside and the staff member shoveling snow helped me clean off my car. Would strongly recommend this stay
