“Great location, excellent value”

Great location, 5 minute walk to Earls court tube station. Restaurants, bakeries, convenient stores all near by. Rooms had view of a small park across the street. Not noisy. I would recomend this place to everybody.

“A Great Value Hotel”

We only had a one night stay as we were flying from Heathrow the following morning, but the room was great. the hotel is very centrally located with lots to do nearby by and it was very quiet. The staff were very good also.We would definately book this hotel again.

“Surprised at the comfort”

For the price i was surprised at the quality of this hotel. Good central location and easy to find. Room was clean, fresh towels and kettle in room.Cannot tell you about the bar or meals as this was a base for me to explore the City.

“Excellent value for money”

The hotel suited us perfectly - our room was extremely quiet, spacious and clean. Great to have a bath as well as a shower (which worked well) It did need updating in places but was still really good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. We can't comment on the breakfast as our booking did not include it, but there were shops and restaurants nearby. Earls Court underground station was really close and on a direct line to the West End, which was very convenient as we went to a show.

This hotel was perfect for someone like me who did not want to stay in a backpackers. Great location in a nice part of London. It was cramped but fine.

“This is the one for a bargain overnight stay in Earls Court”

Very efficient, friendly and superbly located for Earl's Court Underground. Good sized, clean rooms with decent bedding. Room temperature at night is "cool" (I suspect the heating is kept low for efficiency - note that there are no individual heat settings for the room) and there are only the basic terrestrial TV channels, but at this price it wouldn't stop me from staying again. I think it's a real bargain compared to the clinical, soapless world of the Travelodge! - Barkston Gardens is a proper hotel with charm and amazingly good rates.

“Great place in a great part of town”

The hotel was is in Earls court and literally next to numerous grocery stores and resturants. The staff was very nice. My room was a bit small but most singles are in England, however it was cozy and extremly clean. I had a beautiful view since my room was in the front of the hotel. There was a separet spout for the hot and cold water which was differnt and the bathroom was a bit small but it was clean which is whats important. Its clean, in a great area and was a great price, i will definitely stay there the next time i visit London:)

“The most affordable and most convenient hotel in London”

Barkston Garden to me is truly the most affordable and most convenient hotel I have ever stayed in London. I had my reservation when I booked it because many hotels in the vicinity, like most hotels in the area, have very small rooms. But I am relief to find out that it had a decent sized room for a single and all the amenities that a 3 star hotels have plus free internet in the room, which alone, would have cost £ 15-25 per day in other hotels in the city. The hotel literally located across the street from Earls Court tube station which run the Piccadilly and District line. The reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room is nicely decorated with modern decor and new furniture compare to the hotels in the surrounding area. Supermarkets such as Marks and Spencer and many other decent eateries are literally surrounding this hotel and yet the hotel is tucked in a quiet street adjacent to the busy street. I also feel that the room is safe because it uses card key entry. I had bad experience with doors using keys in the past at a notting hill hotel because it got broken into easier. I highly recommend this hotel and it will definitely be my hotel of choice the next time I go back to visit London again.
