“Astons Apartments - London - Great location, quiet and value”

My 82 year old mother and I recently spent a week in London to visit my son. We stayed at Astons Apartments, 31 Rosary Gardens, which is a series of converted Victorian townhouses. It was a 5 minute walk from the Gloucester Road underground, a 15-20 minute walk to Royal Albert Hall and had a wonderful private neighbourhood-shared garden behind it. We stayed in room #6 on the second floor (there are stairs and no elevator) with 2 comfortable twin beds and a balcony onto the street. It had a table,2 chairs, a cupboard style kitchenette with a microwave, kettle, burners, toaster, sink, and the usual cutlery and dishes. We had breakfast in every morning. We shopped at the nearby Waitrose (large and huge wine selection) and Tesco (open later) groceries. The staff at Astons were very friendly and helpful in terms of tourist information, and restaurant recommendations. There is internet in the office and housekeeping is well done every day. The stops for The Original Hop on Hop Off bus and the Big Bus are very close by on Gloucester Road. We also had a wonderful day trip to Bath, Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge. We would/will stay again at Astons! It was a safe, quiet, pretty area, and the accommodations were clean and efficient and suited us very well.

“Pleasent stay”

The stay at Aston’s Apartments was very pleasant. Michael and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and a joy to see. The bathroom was small but workable. The nook with the kitchen items came in handy. The neighborhood is convenient and safe.

Clean, comfortable, safe. The location is fabulous and the price is right. I stayed in a single studio and there was plenty of room for me. The little kitchenette was quite useful. You can walk to the Underground in 2 minutes. The area around the hotel is gorgeous and you can walk to many wonderful locations. Staying at this hotel will make you feel as if you really live in London. This is not a super fancy hotel, but I would still highly recommend it to anyone looking for the basics. If you are traveling with someone who cannot take stairs, please note that this hotel does not have a lift. However, there are rooms available on the first floor. Perhaps you can request one? “Great Deal”

Great location just 2-4 blocks from tube, V&A and Natural History museums and upscale neighborhood. Small room and tiny combined shower/toilet stall. Has a nice kitchen unit with all of cooking essentials that is a great bonus for having meals in pricey London. Nearby mini-market with all the food essentials. Will absolutely use again on next trip to London.

Great place and location. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Nice neighborhood and convenient to two underground stations. Would higly recommend this place.

londre est fantastique, l'hotel est dans un quatier limite huppé à 500 m d'un station metro. A découvrir sans attendre notting hill avec portobello round et le "diana's coffee" ou le café est excellent. Une balade dans hyde park avec un cupcake fabuleux de chez HARROD (il faut y allé, j'ai adoré ce grand magasin à l'ancienne on plonge dans un autre univer). Picadelly circus avec promenade dans le quatier atypique de soho d'ailleur c'est bourré de théatre programmant des comédie muscicale rétro... les monuments historique bien sur mais sans oublier le pont de londre à voire absolument même s'il est excentré avec le fort de la tour de londre. Pour prendre un bon breakfast dans un quatier calme et agréable allez "chez morgane" c'est bon et adorable. Salut et bon voyage!!

“Great studio apts. in nice neighborhood”

Astons Apartments are several buildings on a block. They are nicely renovated. Staff was friendly, helpful & efficient. We got a larger room, as the one paid online was way too small for 2 weeks, people, luggage, cooking space. The kitchenette set up was very well done-unit in cupboard with sm. refrigerator, 2 burners, sink, small counter, electric water boiler and toaster, and good supply of dishes, glasses, flatware, knives, could have had more utensils. Hidden garbage. Bathroom was good, larger than most in London. Bed very comfortable, good closet, table & chairs, bedside tables. Wifi & TV were good. Near Gloucester Rd Tube station, restaurants, shops. My husband and I went to give workshops but had some good sightseeing, too.

“Great Little Hotel Great Little Location”

It's basic, like a little apartment. No one bothers you and it's quiet. 3 mins from tube station and set in the lovely little area of London with shops and pubs, like a little London Village. 10 mins walk from museums.You are on both Piccadilly and District lines, so easy access to Heathrow. This hotel was perfect for us.

Pratique et pas cher (pour Londres) la chambre est très bien située (près d'un métro et d'un parc). Un peu petite, mais suffisante.
