It was ok, but I would look for other options. They didn't have internet connection, the people were not very kind. But in general, it was ok. With an underground (tube) station really near.

OUI, le réceptionniste ne parle pas tres bien anglais et n'est pas très avenant, les moquettes meriterai un nettoyage, on entend pas mal les voisins peu discrets (du dessous aussi), le lit grince et des odeurs desagreables viennes des canalisations, mais RIEN D'INSURMONTABLE. Le petit dejeuner est correct (tranches fromage et jambon, pain de mie à griller, oeufs durs, corn flakes). Hotel à 100m de la station Paddington, resto et change à proximité.

L'hotel est propre, le personnel de l'hotel est disponible et agréable. Le seul bémol est l'ancienneté de l'hotel qui le rend moins accueillant. D'ailleurs la literie doit également etre assez ancienne car les ressorts du lit peuvent etre parfois genant. avantage et inconvenients le metro est proche de l'hotel, on l'entend un peu mais mais c'est bien pratique pour se déplacer.

Hotel bien placé dans une rue riche en restaurants divers et tout près de la station de métro de Paddington. Pour le reste, c'est un hôtel deux étoiles, il ne faut donc pas s'attendre à un grand confort et à un petit déjeuner avec croissants. :o)

“Room small, but comfy”

I had a room with 2 twin beds and 1 full bed, not a lot of room left to walk, but we only slept in the room. This is a very old, small hotel, which is what we wanted. The beds and linen smelled and looked fresh. The bath was old with a string to turn on the light, but was extremely clean when we arrived and was kept that way throughout our stay. There is no air conditioning, but the temperature was just right(the window was opened during the day.) We were comfortable with the small spaces and confined aareas, but I would not suggest this hotel for those that are over weight to any extent.

“But what do you expect for the price!”

I needed to add one night onto a trip at the last minute and knew that we would arrive at the hotel at about 1:00 am and would leave later that same morning. So we wanted something close to the tube and cheap. It was close to the tube ( 2 or 3 minute walk), and it was not expensive. I had reserved a room with two beds (made reservation on the phone) but upon checkin had to argue and show my confirmation that it said two beds. I was told I could only have two beds if available. They ultimately did have a room available with two beds. The room was in a separate crummy building with a seven floor walk up to the room -- no elevator. The room was extremely small, that is there were two beds and they touched the walls on two sides and had less than one foot at the base and no room for even one end table on the other side. There was no closet and one hanger on a hook on the wall. The bathroom was very small but new and clean, and had a good shower that worked well. There was NO place to put suitcases. No, I would not stay here again. But on the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the room smelled clean. The breakfast was toast or cerial and jam. We laughed about it all and it served our purpose!.

“Hôtel plutôt propre et bien situé mais confort MINIMAL”

La chambre semblait plutôt bien nettoyée, mais la douche fonctionnait mal et le lit ne correspondait pas à ce que nous avions demandé (nous avons eu 3 lits simples juxtaposés à la place d'un lit double). Le petit déjeuner laissait un peu à désirer (un toaster avec des tranches de pain, une bouilloire avec du thé et du café en sachet, quelque chose qui ressemblait à du fromage et de la confiture en petites doses). Il ne faut pas non plus être trop sensible au bruit, car les murs et portes sont très fins à l'Ascot Hyde Park! Par contre l'hôtel est bien placé, à 10 minutes de marche de Hyde Park, et à moins de 15 minutes d'Oxford Street.

“Très bon rapport qualité prix”

Je recommande cet hotel pour un court séjour, très bien situé, petite chambre mais ça suffit. Manque d'aération dans la salle de bain mais sinon tout est correct
