“Quaint and beautifully located”
The people at the hotel couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable about London. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only problem was we didn't understand that the accommodation was not "en suite." That being said, the folks were gracious and helpful, a real boon as my husband has balance issues.
“Clean, comfortable, good location in London”
Clean bedding & towels, good breakfast, pleasant employees, close to subway station and bus stops. No a/c and no elevator. Get a room on a lower floor and at the back if you can. It was noisy with the window open at night-- sirens from nearby hospital.
“Good hotel for London”
People at the hotel were excellent- Friendly and helpful. Room was London sized, but clean and nice. Would probably be rather hot in the summer. Bed was a little small and rather hard but I slept OK. It's a bit of a walk from the nearest tube stop, if you are carrying much gear, but not terrible. (about a 1/2 mile?) But there are several good pubs to rest in along the way. Would stay again and can recommend with confidence.
“Arron house hotel-great place”
The arran is centrally located and a wonderful place to stay. They took care of all our needs, sitting down with us and asking questions. The 4 bedroom roon was amazing! Comfortable, spacious and nice. The room with two single beds was very tight but clean and the bed was very comfortable.
“Stay only if you have to”
The staff was very nice and the lobby was very attractive with free tea all day and plenty of newspapers & magazines. The internet worked perfectly in the room. But the hotel is a maze and is not well marked - do not take your luggage to your room until you first find your room. Everything is a bit worn and the bathroom was the smallest bathroom I had ever been in even though our room slept five people. Breakfast was better than average but the room was cramped and chaotic.
“Very good budget Hotel”
For London the prices charged is excellent value. room bright and clean with shared toilet but kept very clean.Breakfast good amount of choices, hot food good quality products used. ie Sausages and Bacon. This hotel is good for families and couples,The only thing I thought was not so good is the down stairs reception, and the lounge rather untidy and dull. Very good location,Goodge Tube station only 8 minutes away, West end 2 stops. warning tube fares very expensive £4.20 single trip even for 1 stop, best to buy all day ticket £7.00.I would recommend this for people on a tight budget.
“Not for families.”
The main problem with this hotel is that, given what it charges per night, it offers low quality service. Early check-in was not possible and we had no other option but to leave our suitcases unattended in the lobby for three hours. Our room (for three) was really small and found the hotel not child-friendly at all. The breakfast was revolting and we only had it the first day. This will be fine for someone desperate for a centrally-located B&B. If you have time, find an alternative.
“très très moyen !!”
Hotel pas très propre (sale de déjeuner)
“Arron House stay”
Three flights of stairs, (no elevator) we were not informed of this, Uninformed staff , glad to get out of it, would have moved but had already paid for it.
