Family friendly hotel
Really friendly welcome received after our long drive to London. The kind receptionist did everything possible to make us comfortable and gave us advice about parking our car. We were also grateful to the flexibility given to us for a later checkout, which gave us more time to get the children ready. All in all, this establishment are really looking to make their guests happy!

It was ok for the price we paid. Our room and bathroom was abit small for 2 people. The room was clean and when i spoke to a lady she was nice and friendly. Communacating with this hotel to ask question was rather difficult. Reception is not maned all the time. it was adequate for the 2 nights we stayed and price we paid.

Quick easy check in. Great location. Less than a minute from the tube station. 5 minutes from Golders Hill Park. 2 minutes from the High Street. Comfortable well equipped room. I used to use the holiday Inn at Brent Cross for London trips, not anymore.

I have stayed at this hotel before and it met its usual high standards of comfort,cleanliness and excellent customer service from reception staff.staying in the capacity of a covid keyworker,all covid safety measures were in place and i would highly recommend this hotel and the prices are very reasonable.Patrick.

Good value stop-over!

There was absolutely no internet. It was said Internet will start working after 5 pm, still it did not work. There was no breakfast although it was said initially it was included. There was no heating. I had to request for a portable heater. There were stains on the toilet seat. The lady at the reception was helpful to the best of her capacity but really not a good hotel experience.

Very good and cozy hotel
I stayed in this hotel many times over the past 5 years. Since it becomes OYO, the room decoration was improved. There were all amenities in the room. The single room I got was adequate and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a bit limited. However, there are groceries and restaurants nearby. Golders Green bus and underground station is just a few minutes walk away. I can easily recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Recommended for a short stay.
Very friendly reception on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable although a touch small as we were in one of 3 attic rooms. The only issue was the position of the radiator in the bathroom. Easily burn knees on it when sat on the toilet!!! Unfortunately can't review breakfast as we missed it but I'll definitely be staying there again.

I stayed at this premises a few times before becoming OYO Anchor Hotel. The location is so convenient and very close to a transportation hub. The current decoration is brighter but still retains the homely welcome. The staff were courteous and polite. The room was clean and tidy. The letdown might be the breakfast that used to be plentiful. However, the current hotel offered a great price. I will definitely go back again.

Parking has only 3 places. Room is small but quite enough. Bed is not very confortable. Floor squeaks when walk in room. Breakfast was poor only with some cheese. Hotel has also regular european power sockets. Pillows were not fresh

When looked at the reviews thought ummmm. But the place was OK. Clean sheets and warm. They even leave a heater if you get cool. As stay in area a lot know what breakfast is like was surprised it was OK. Very chilled and relaxed. Soas for other reviews that slag the place iff are unjustified I thought it was OK for the price. So clean bedding good continental breakfast. So that's most important part.

Well located and could be worse, but too cold!!
As expected, I was in a very small room up a lot of stairs. I was never offered help in carrying my bags up the stairs, but this may have been available on request. Room was well-equipped but not all was working well. The worst problem was no heat in the radiators.

Three floors, no lift.
When we arrived we were on the top floor. Not good when you are in your seventies and there is no lift. We got a move to the ground floor but had to pay an extra £12/night. Apart from that it was fine and handy for the tube.

Very arverage with great location
Great location, 2 mins walk to the tube station which takes you directly into the centre of London, very quiet and handful of local shops and restaurants around the area. The room however, is extremely small. My "double room" is in fact a singel room with a double bed. The toilet is also extremely tiny. Clean enough but the size really is small. Another problem is the breakfast and the breakfast area. This hotel has 12 rooms, but only 5 tables. We stayed 3 days and each morning someone had to wait for a table, making us rush through our food. Also, they do not top up any hot food, ie the beans and the egg, even there were over an hour before the breakfast time is over, we had very little hot food during those 3 days, as the amount weren't near close to supply with all the guests. They also do not have any meat, its simply a few slice of tomato, cucumber, toasts and fruit, cup cakes. It was a bit misleading to advertise them having "cooked" breakfast. Finally, they only have 4 parking spaces and that were no other way at all to park, as there is pay and display all around in London and cost up to £4 per hour in the street. Arverage, great location. I however unsure if I would stay again in the future.

This is my second stay at this guesthouse. I stayed in a single room on the second floor. The room is rather small but well equipped with refrigerator and kettle for tea and coffee. The bed is comfortable and bigger than many hotels in Japan or continental Europe. The breakfast was good. This hotel is very close to Golders Green underground and bus station and there are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. I can recommend this hotel to all my friends. I will go back again.
