“10+”
Absolute best stain London, luxury and warm and friendly staff!
“suberb!”
An excellent base for a london break. From the moment we arrived ( and were greeted with a glass of champagne), we enjoyed every aspect of the hotel. The staff are highly efficient and friendly, the room was superb, and the lounge was a luxurious sanctuary from the busy city. Can't recommend this hotel enough, we will return. Good value for money.
“When you're looking for something special...”
41 offers a discreet luxury absent from so many hotels in London. No need for flashy modern art or snooty staff here; 41 has an elegance that belies its understated entrance and provides a 5 star stay from start to finish. The staff at 41 have an almost sixth sense, anticipating and then catering to your every need while you lounge about in your bathrobe. With a shower head the size of a hubcap, fireplace, DVD player and the lovely touch of complimentary jelly beans, 41 delivers on every aspect. This is what a hotel should be, and I thoroughly recommend it for any occasion - birthdays, anniversaries, Tuesdays...
“Best London hotel”
The best service at any London hotel that I've stayed at.
“Can’t wait to go back there”
If I have to use only one word to describe this hotel it would be AWESOME. Everywhere you look you see a touch of class. Old fashion quality in both – interior design and service. I rate the room comfort at 4 simply because the room was a bit tight. We did not have any luggage with us, so the space was just enough. A couple of suitcases would have taken up most of the floor. Otherwise the room was cute, cozy and equipped with everything that makes the stay a true pleasure. And last but not least – location. The hotel is close to all major sights in London and to Victoria station.
“Lots of extras”
Very "clubby" hotel occupying the fifth floor of the neighboring Rubens. Plenty of extras -- robes, pillows, olives and water with turndown service. Room was very well appointed in black and white, with a fireplace. Bath was very roomy with both a tub and stall shower. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Only 3 complaints: (1) Requested early (11:00AM) check-in via email and was told upon arrival -- after 11:00AM incidentally -- that a room was not yet available. They attempted to upsell me a junior suite. When I declined, my room became available. Might have just been timing but seemed odd. (2) This boutique offshoot of the Rubens has no real lobby (with check-in on the 5th floor), but does have someone to receive guests during regular hours. However, upon returning late in the evening on two occasions our card key did not work and no one answered the outside curtosy phone. It was necessary to enter through the Rubens lobby. (3) We did partake of breakfast on the final day which was ridiculously overpriced...
