“Fabulous breakfast and fitness room”

The room itself at this hotel was diappointing. It was tiny for a suite-- and the pullout bed was not very comfortable--the mattress was extremely thin. And the toilet paper roll was practically empty when we arrived so we immediately had to call for more which was annoying. However, the made-to-order breakfast was one of the best i've had at any hotel becasue they also had a full buffet. Same with the fitness room. It was outstanding. The pool, hottub and Japanese garden in the center of this hotel looked very nice as well and the lighting at night was beautiful.

“Outstanding Breakfast!”

Great garden and really outstanding breakfast that is included in the cost. Breakfast is at Sonny's Kitchen (hotel courtyard) and includes omelettes, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, bacon, etc. Facility is older and can use some paint, etc. but is fairly well maintained.

“Home in Lompoc”

Very pleasant, especially Guillermo's homelike kitchen service and cocktails. Number 1 choice in the Santa Ynez valley

“Nice hotel”

Nice to have a studio. The doors to the common area are french doors, but have a curtain to keep out unwanted eyes.

“A Good Choice with helpful staff and great beer!”

Very friendly and helpful staff with a nice happy hour and breakfast included. Not the most up to date decor but a very good value for the cost. Great local brewed complementary Firestone Beer included at the Happy Hour! ( :

“Nice grounds, great bed, avg furniture. Thumbs up.”

I'm a new fan of all Embassy Suites, based on their increased level of service. The breakfast that was included with this stay, was without a doubt, the BEST complimentary breakfast I have EVER had at ANY hotel. It exceeded many $14 breakfasts I've had at others as well. They even have a short order cook for eggs and omelets. The room could have been better. The "suite" was two rooms, but was small and felt cramped. There was a small fridge and counter w/ sink. The furniture looked quite out-dated, and the ottoman had stains on it. There was a slight hint of "dog" smell in the room. Bedding, comforter, and pillows were way above average and quite comfortable. Bedding was nice and white, fluffy, and may have consisted of down, or something similar. Bed was best part of the room. The furniture, not so great. I had a lovely first floor view out into the alleyway and garbage cans for the stores next door. I'd certainly recommend staying here for a night as you're passing through Lompoc (why would anyone make Lompoc a final destination???), if you can get a discount. Oh, and nice charming mission-style architecture and great landscaping too.

“Best of slim pickings in Lompoc”

This Embassy Suites is smallish and slightly worn. There is nothing wrong with it per se, but it is not up to normal Embassy Suite standards. If you are staying in Lompoc, this is probably your best bet, but that's not saying much.
