“Easy short walk from the train station”

We visited Torano for one day because we were taking the Bernina Express to Chur. The hotel couldn't have been closer to the train stations - from Milan and the one for the Bernina Express. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the square and was very clean. It had all the necessary features. Unfortunately we could not get the wi fi to work either in our room or downstairs. No one was able to help and we were told because our laptop was from overseas (not italy) that was probably why. I've never heard that one before and it worked in other Italian hotels. Anyway there are a couple of 'internet cafes' in town but they were either closed on that day or you had to use their netbook of which they only had one. It was in use by someone else at the time. The hotel breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I would recomment this hotel but be aware that if the internet is not working for you, don't expect help from the staff because their response was - 'it works for everyone else'. Apart from that the staff were fine.
