Park First, Then Check In...
This clean and comfortable hotel is a little tough to enter by car as it is located in a very busy shopping and restaurant district with no dedicated adjacent spaces. There is a parking garage (Parking Souterrain Saint-Paul on Google Maps) 190 meters northwest on Rue Muzene and I highly recommend driving directly to it and walking to the hotel for check in. Once inside, the staff is friendly and helpful. We were impressed that our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with one of the larger bathrooms we've seen during our trip. Worth the extra work in finding, so check your email prior to check-in for arrival instructions especially if you should arrive after 10pm.

This hotel is located in a very central location. The tram is close and most sightseeing is a short walk. The room was adequate and the staff very polite and helpful.

This is a nice little in-town hotel with good value. But the Expedia listing indicated that there would be electric car charging when there was not. There is charging several blocks away, but the problems of getting the charging going was significant and wasted several hours. In my opinion, the hotel should not claim electric charging--unless it noted that is nearby.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The only tricky part was we weren't sure if we would be arriving late (after 22:00) and communicating prior was difficult since I do not speak French. Luckily we arrived prior to 22:00 and the staff spoke English and were very friendly and welcoming.

This was the perfect hotel for my solo trip to Orléans. My room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was huge. The breakfast was fantastic (pitcher of coffee, basket of pastries and breads, yogurt, cheese, jam). The people at the front desk were uniformly friendly and helpful. One help me arrange a taxi to a distant town when the taxi company wouldn't accept my American phone number. The hotel was situated on a quiet block just south of the city center. I would definitely stay here again.

Cosy, noisy but excellent staff!
No air con so windows open in our room and unfortunately very noisy from cars and drunken people. A little cramped in the room but big bathroom. Staff were excellent! We were late and just made booking in due to terrible traffic but they tried contacting us via phone and mail to leave the code to the door and let us know the room number and that the key was there too. Lovely staff and very helpful.

Interesting Orlean
Hotel was located in a square/courtyard next to the river.Staff were friendly and helpful. The square/court yard had a bar/restaurant which was a great place to relax after a big day looking around Orlean. Orlean was a great base to explore the Chateaus of the Loire valley from,which is a must when coming to this region. Orlean is a very bright clean historic city with great restaurants and a wonderful feel about it. It is quite different from other French cities in its appearance with its fresn white cobble stone pavements and wonderful trams.Agreat place to visit.

We received a friendly welcome by English-speaking staff. Room quite spacious and well equiped. A special deal with a nearby car park provides overnight parking for just €3,00. All sights in walking distance. Breakfast was a disappointment.

Great center location.
Loved Orleans. This was an unexpected joy. We picked this because it was a convenient train ride to Paris, and we needed a place to stay. Good choice. The hotel rooms are small, but as expected and advertised. Would stay here again.

Cramped quarters but good location.
Citotel Marguerite is well situated within walking distance of old Orleans. Rooms are fairly small and although part of the hotel has been updated this wasn't as obvious in the rooms. However I chose this hotel more for the lower price and the inexpensive parking available nearby. So for a short and affordable stay this hotel does the trick.

Really nice hotel in a great location for the city. Cheap undercover secure parking through the hotel across the road and a lovely little cafe bar in the square right outside the door too. We had a superior double room on the top floor and was very good value for money. The dog was happy there too.

Friendly helpful receptionist. Good parking cost and close enough to the parking station. Excellent continental breakfast which was good value for money. Our room was small but we opted for lowest cost. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. The floor of the room above creaked in the morning as people moved about and we also heard some plumbing noise. Hotel was well positioned near old town.

A bare-bones hotel with a great staff
The entrance to the hotel is set back off a small plaza and you have to go up to the first (or second if you are American) floor to find the reception area so it was not immediately easy to locate. We neglected to find out about parking prior to arriving in Tours and, between finding the hotel, finding how to get in and then finding the subsidized parking area, it all took some doing. The young woman at the desk was very helpful and welcoming once we formally arrived. Our room was basic but adequate although I was surprised by the wood floor. The bath was recently updated and, aside from a burnt out light over the shower, very convenient. You can easily walk to the main tourist areas in Orleans and, if you are driving, it is a quick and direct drive to the main highways.

The hotel is well situated and clean. Old, like many of the European hotels but clean and comfortable. Easy walk to tourist area. We are travelling with bikes and bike storage is safe and convenient.

The room was comfortable and the hotel is near the river for those that love the scenic route. There is a bike kiosk nearby which is usually empty by late morning as people use it to get to town. Center is about 10 minutes walk and the tram stop is just down the street.

Hotel is in a nice spot for getting to the old city on foot. Parking isn't easy, but not hard either. Rooms are clean, but your climate control is your window. They need some serious work on their internet service.

Very friendly desk personnel; nice room and location near major sites - the cathedral and many restaurants within easy walking distance. One caution - if you park in the nearby public garage, take your ticket with you!!! You cannot get back in without it and may not be able to get your car when you want it. Also, Joan of Arc House is a good slide show, but not really a tour of a home from that period - and closed on Mondays...FYI

Really cute hotel, clean, and conveniently located. Some of the staff spoke English quite well, and otherwise were very patient with non-fluent French. Very reasonably priced for the value and quality of room. A word for anyone who need to check out before 7am- they seem to lock you in overnight.

My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Marguerite hotel on the 22nd Sep'2011. Our room on the second floor had a delightful three window aspect on two sides of the hotel. The room was spacious and bright with two most comfortable beds with crisp clean linen. The location was quite close to the centre of Orleans with its numerous bars and restaurants and the river. We would certainly choose this hotel again if we are visiting the area.

Clean Comfortable Hotel in the Middle of Orleans
The room was very big and clean. It was the perfect place to stay our on trip through the Loire Valley, it even had authentic shutters. There were a ton of restaurants and bar with a 10 minute walk of the hotel. There was ample metered street parking although we opted to park in a garage so we could sleep in. The staff was very friendly and spoke English which was a big help. The only drawback was that the bathroom was a bit dated but other than that it was a great value for the money.
