“Great Hotel in Lockhart Texas”

I didn't know what to expect in the small town of Lockhart, but this hotel was GREAT. Staff was friendly, everything was clean. I highly recommend it and would stay there ANYTIME

“Lockhart's best choice”

This Best Western was the very best example of the franchise that I have been in, whether to stay or to visit someone else, in a long time. Things are looking up for future stays!

We had a family confusion upon arrival and the receptionist was wonderful regarding our check-in. Thanks to her we made it to our engagement on time.

We found the hotel to be very clean and the staff at check in and check out was very friendly and fast. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We would recommend anyone to stay there.

“Lockhart”

New hotel, clean, everything worked, beds were in good condition and comfortable. Complementary hot breakfast was all there as advertised but quality of food was very cheap - barely edible sausage, eggs, stale cereal. Also, night clerk does not answer phones. I had to go downstairs & bang on desk to wake them so they could have blaring TV turned down (3am). That said, this is the nicest & cleanest hotel in Lockhart and during daystaff was excellent.

I usually rate hotels on three things, noise, cleanliness and smell. This Best Western smelled. It was clean enough. It was quiet on the second floor. I never heard the traffic noise at all. Good location. The worst thing I noticed was the furniture was very badly stained. May have been some carpet stains but it is hard to remember now after staying two other places. It did not affect my comfort; it just looked bad.

The cable did not work - either the picture was fuzzy or the sound was staticy on every channel. The water pressure in the shower was minimal. The a/c worked a little too well. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly.

Pool was dirty. Door to pool unlocked most of time.
