"Immensely impressed with this small hotel. Friendly and efficient check-in service. A simply wonderful "Sunday Roast" for our Sunday evening dinner - though you will need a large appetite - and extraordinarily helpful service. We had struggled to get the heating on in our room, but this was sorted out with great patience and efficiency. And at breakfast, we had exceptionally good service. Couldn't have asked for more. Sure - it's not luxurious, but it was friendly, quiet, efficient and the food was superb. Recommended"

"It is the second time in a couple of weeks that I stayed here. Checking in and out simple and fast. Staff very friendly. I stayed in two different rooms and both were clean and comfortable. Tv and Wi Fi reception also very good. I would go back againg."

The free breakfast was a continental selection, but cooked items were available at extra cost. Loved our stay."

"As always the hotel couldn’t do enough for us. Some of the guys couldn’t make it but that wasn’t an issue they let us rebook so we didn’t lose money. The 9 of us that did stay had a fantastic evening in the bar with the locals. Dinner was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend the place more highly. The staff are one of the main reasons we keep coming back. "

"My husband and I stayed here for the second year running for our wedding anniversary and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were helpful and friendly at check in. Our double room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The spa was £10pp for hotel residents that hadn’t booked direct but it was worth it. I also paid for a neck shoulder and back massage - would highly recommend Tracy! Dinner was in the Courtyard restaurant - we had 3 courses and a bottle of wine for under £100 and there were plenty of vegetarian options for us! The bed was comfortable and we slept for 9 hours! Check out was 11. We would have got breakfast if we hadn’t slept in! We hope to come back next year for our 3 year anniversary! "
