I loved my stay at the City Hotel Ljubljana! Everything was so clean, attractive, and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet is included, and it was very satisfying. I loved how close it it is to the city center!

Very nice hotel in a good location. Halfway to main tourist area and train station. Breakfast was wonderful and room comfortable

Best breakfast in a central location
Very centrally located hotel in Ljubljana right next to the old town. The hotel is comfortable. The room was spacious. Bathroom also spacious. Breakfast is very good, plenty of options both hot and cold.

Great location with excellent buffet breakfast
Great location - walking distance to the train station and bus station as well as the old town. Buffet breakfast was amazing every morning. 24 hour burek nearby was excellent.

The room was nice, but it was far too hot and could not be regulated. We got a fan which helped. The breakfast buffet was very good and the front desk staff great. Good location.

Positives - location is excellent, included breakfast was good. Massive negative - you cannot control the room temperature which means you are disgustingly hot and cannot get a decent sleep for longer than an hour. Eventually we opened the large window for some cold but the noise from outside was ridiculously noisy. Based on this alone, in spite of the excellent location and breakfast I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location, close to dining and shopping. Very friendly and helpful customer service, Liubov who is working at front desk was very polite and professional, gave us Ljubljana map, explain what to visit first, where we can parked our car, and give us a lot of useful information The breakfast was Amazing ! Was one of the best breakfast we had during our trip in Italy and Slovenia. Overall our stay was very comfortable and would highly recommend!

The hotel was good and quite large. Spacious clean rooms and bathroom. We found the rooms so hot that we could not sleep well. We were moved after the first night to a room that had some AC controls although we slept with the windows wide open. Breakfast was extensive with many buffet selections to cater for most tastes. Staff members were polite and friendly. Good location for walking to the main points of interest.

It was next door to the old town area which is what we wanted. Staff was gracious. Appreciated the availablity of a taxi from & to the airport. We missed having a safe in the room. Otherwise, all was great.

Amazing location, great staff
The hotel was lovely; staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, and the location was beyond fabulous. The walls were a bit thin (I could hear my neighbors text alerts and alarm, so I’m sure they could hear mine) but that was a minor issue. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.

Great location as it is an easy walk from the bus and train depot, but also just two blocks from the Dragon Bridge. Very good breakfast, nice bar and easy luggage storage.

Great location with everything within walking distance. Decent breakfast. Rooms were good. Hotel itself was a bit disappointing, although getting a basic drink if you choose not to have the room made up is great for the environment and us. However, there were holes in the sheet , some ants in the room and housekeeping did not vacuum while I was there. The wifi was very slow so I couldn't access some things. The air conditioning was set to 21 to 25 degrees, too hot at night for me. Overall ok, but not great.

The location was great as it was on a street where cars were permitted so we could drop off our luggage. It was also close to the riverfront for dining and activities. I wish that there was help with getting luggage to the room. My husband dropped me off with all the luggage and went to return the rental car. I was forced to stay in the lobby until he returned before going to the room because I could not move it all myself. Also there was a problem witht he air conditioning thermostat that was not resolved during our stay.

A decent hotel with lobby bar suitable for business travelers and tourists not planning to spend a lot of time in the room. Good breakfast buffet but it tends to get busy the later you go.

The room was rather small, but with all the conveniences that one would expect. A nice touch was the large umbrella in the room. The breakfast was full and with local specialties - very good. All in all, I can warmly recommend the hotel

Very comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a great location ... easy walking distance to the canal, castle, etc. Fantastic breakfast ... one of the best we've had in any European hotel. Enjoy this on their roof terrace for a great view of the castle and the city. Friendly staff too. Would happily stay again.

Our quadruple room was large (sometimes the extra beds are squeezed in…) and clean. Buffet breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent, the best we’ve had. Location was also excellent, less than 5 minutes’ walk to the river café area and maybe 10 minutes to the bus and railway stations.
