A very nice hotel...currently under renovations...should be even better when they are complete. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast was substantial. Parking is convenient. We would recommend this hotel.
I was traveling with my senior mother, and requested no stairs in the reservation. We were provided with first floor room, no questions asked. Check-in was friendly and fast and everything about the facility was terrific. We enjoyed our overnight stay and breakfast in the morning.
This hotel is very affordable, clean, near restaurants, free breakfast, including waffles.
It is located minutes from Syracuse. I had an early morning doctor appointment at Upstate Medical Center so I booked this hotel for the night before.
I have done this several times and have never been disappointed with my stay.
Everything was great but when I arrived they had given me a double bed room. I had booked a "kind bed room" which the hotel staff said I had to request a one bed room. It clearly said one king bed room when I booked but it was okay.
The 4 pm check in seems absolute. We arrived at 3:10 on a Friday and there were no ready rooms. You are on your own for housekeeping on the weekends (service not included). We were able to procure needed supplies (towels and such). We were disturbed by loud and unruly guests and called the desk. The desk staff did quell the noise. Sadly, people behaving poorly in hotels has become the rule rather than the exception. Not this facilities issue. Nice facility overall. Noisy kitchen area.
"Great hotel for airport delays or early flights."
We always use this hotel when we have an early flight out of Syracuse or a late arriving flight into Syracuse. Shuttle is easy and convenient. Breakfast included is wonderful if only they could use something other than Styrofoam and plastic.
Located on Onondaga Lake, this suburban area is 5 miles (8 km) north of downtown Syracuse. Onondaga Lake Park runs along the shoreline, popular with the locals. The Salt Museum explores the history of the industry responsible for the growth of Syracuse and the surrounding area.
