“good choice”
excellent standard of accomodation and food in restaurant was top class. would recommend this hotel to friends. location good - close to shops and night life. would definately stay again

For the price I wasn't expecting anything amazing. Hotel was nice with friendly staff. Room was a bit tired/gruby but nothing worth complaining about given the price. Hearty breakfast. Would stop again.

Too much traffic noise at all hours throughout the night. Apart from that, I would stay there again.
“Extremely disappointing!”
Nice hotel with a great location. However, firstly at check-in, the hotel's policy is to take a pre-authorisation on your card in case you break or damage something!! I have stayed in numerous hotels and this is the first time I have seen this. A complete lack of trust!! Secondly, the noise - the hotel is situated across the road from a night club. The noise from across the road was unbearable, admittedly beyond the hotel's control, but maybe they should consider double glazing! Finally, the decor - could really do with a touch up. My room - 203 had stained walls, chipped paint, etc. Quite frankly, I think I'd have had a better stay at a Travelodge!!
“Tired!!!!”
If it wasn't for the friendly staff it would be hard to rate this place at all. Breakfast was chaos but nice when it eventually arrived. Bathroom was horrible. I would say 5 star staff struggling in a 2 star hotel.
